Two of my favorite witches and authors. Wake up Ella. Seriously, this was great it made for an entertaining video. Also, its cool to see how much crossover there is in magic even between countries.
Horse chestnuts (spiney husk) and buckeyes (smooth husk) are two different trees. I'm also from Appalachian Ohio and my mama was from the Ozarks, so I love mountain folk medicine, magick and lore.
My Kentucky Grandaddy, born in the 1890s always carried a buckeye in his overall pocket. He said it brought him good luck. Also, if your horseshoe is upside down,"all the luck drains out."
Loved this video. The two of you collaborating was so great! I have a question for Ella concerning German house spirits. My Father was German and he always taught us a little song for the Brownie Men. Do you know anything about them?
Oh it depends, there are several from different regions so the one that comes to mind for me is ‘Bi Ba Butzemann’ for example - if you know some of the lyrics I can probably tell you more or suggest reading/other people who may know 😁
I know a good curse using just a red or black candle. Take the candle and light it in a dark room and place it near you and picture what you want to happen to the person and look into the falme and say: I call your soul into my candle, come hither to stay in front of my eyes you whom have wronged me with all of your lies, may it toil as I now cackle, for it is I who laughs at you (name of the person) only by apology may rhe curse be broken, else it may grow ever worse.
Voldemort Unfortunately I cannot say as they are someone watching our content for a long time and it’s a whole problem but also not much can be done beyond blocking 🥲
I love this video so much, I love watching you together! Q for Ella (or anyone who knows): I moved to Belgium from the UK and want to incorporate some local practices but my research is thinnnnn here (it's probably all in Dutch or French 🫠). Any tips or recommendations?? Xx
I just shared a video on book recs with two dutch books that could be interesting as they focus on the northern region and likely have overlap into Belgium! Personally I always say a good starting point is childrens books and childrens fairytale stories as they often have a lot of old folktales preserved and can then be a jumping off point for further research 🤍 also thank you!
You two together have such sister energy. Love it!
Yes! This is what I was thinking!
Ohh thank you 🥹🥹 she really is my sister from another mister lol
