    Fire & Drum music! This is beautiful to see! There should be some sort of festival to acknowledge this type of music & have different groups perform

    Magnificent. The musicians, of course, are the real stars, but those who had the foresight to record and document them like the Lomaxes are "co-MVPs."

    I went to the grand opening of the Arts and Entertainment museum in Meridian,MS on yesterday and there is an exhibit for Mr Othar and his band. Never heard of him before yesterday but just knew I’d find something on TH-cam.

    If you are ever near Meridian MS the MAX museum is a must see. Awesome place!!!!

    ive got a book all about these blues guys from this area its really cool its called mississippi blues today there are photos from this in there i believe

    When you get to the interview portion, turn on the Closed Captions... you'll be glad you did. With that accent and how fast he's talkin', I couldn't catch it very well. Good ol' CC comes through in the clutch again.
