Fun fact, i HATED this song when it came out. Sounded too brainlessly loud and overpowered the vocals, but a month or 2 after it played on shuffle and i was in a TRANCE. It really has a way to instill fear or terror in the chorus, like youre in a chase from the overall dread/panic-like sound. Its as if youre in a cult or something, kind of like CIXs Jungle but with a bigger adrenaline rush. Loved that you guys enjoyed it!

drunk-dazed is my most played song this year. its also this year that i started uni and started drinking a bit more habitually (its not a problem yet lol dw), so i got more familiar w that feeling of fuzzy nauseous dizziness, that stumbling around as the world swirls kinda experience (i think the mv expresses this also p well with the party scenes, moving shots n stuff) n its rlly interesting how that can be felt in the music. its also very cool how "i will step into the sky" was a symbol of greatness/bravery in given-taken, but in Here, its a symbol of a world flipped upside down, the dizziness and wrongness of that, a "drunk world". theres the shot of jake laying on the couch upside down as he pours his drink on the carpet, the drink falling upwards as the camera tilts upside down. its such a cool visual expression of that! rlly enjoyed this vid, the part abt high cuts was so interesting! cloud's explanation about catchiness, too! its really amazing that the song is abt being trapped in a carnival/party, or addiction possibly, and the song itself makes u trapped listening to it, actually feels like being drunk at a party on a visceral level, n it is addictive lol. thank you, always luv what you do ♡
