Thus, it would be impossible to port the song over without either also porting the original instruments or arranging the song to fit with the already programmed-in instruments. Incidentally, the melody played by the whistle is still in the song itself, only now played by the bango. (Evidentally, Mario Kart 64 does not have a whistle programmed into its instrument set.)

well the reason it isn't as loud is because SM64 and Mario Kart 64 use different instrument sets, but you can edit the m64 in the SM64 editior
