The back was cut in the beginning at 0 degree elevation. It's a one length cut with face frame.

The purpose of this haircut is so the weight is pushed towards the back of the head. It releases *a little bit* of weight in the back, but most of it cascades into a point. I like to use this on clients with finer hair, because it maintains all the structural integrity of the back. But I do incorporate the forward elevation when connecting the face framing into the rest of the haircut.
Visualize a headsheet of this haircut, and imagine where the hair in the crown area falls when its pushed back. It cascades,, and tapers off into infinity until it reaches the perimeter and falls into a point. Completely seamless layers, no contrasting angles, and everything falls harmoniously.
