• नियुक्ति (सभी सदस्य की) - भारत के राष्ट्रपति द्वारा
• हटाने की प्रक्रिया - संसद द्वारा महाभियोग के तहत ( मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के लिए)
• चुनाव क्षेत्र - राज्यसभा, लोकसभा, विधानसभा, राष्ट्रपति, उपराष्ट्रपति
• मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त - सुनील अरोड़ा
• उपचुनाव आयुक्त - अशोक लवासा , शुशील चंद्र
✓ आदर्श चुनाव आचार संहिता
• सर्वप्रथम 1960 में केरल में विधानसभा चुनाव में प्रयोग
• नियम और दिशानिर्देश का एक सेट ( चुनाव से संबंधित)
✓ वर्ष 1988 में संसद ने 61वें संविधान संशोधन के माध्यम से मतदान करने की आयु 21 से घटाकर 18 साल करने संबंधी विधेयक को मंजूरी दी थी।
✓ भारत में पहली बार evm का प्रयोग 1982 में केरल से शुरू हुआ था।
• 2004 से पूर्ण रूप से लागू।

I found one serious error -you told that all the election commissioners can be removed by only impeachment similar to judges of supreme court but it is not true only Chief election commissioner can be removed by the process of impeachment.
