@@BearJaw1983 It’s clear at the end that Moon’s mind was hallucinating those encounters. There was no Solar, there was no Ruin. Sun wasn’t at the daycare because he was at their island house meanwhile Earth and Lunar weren’t at the pizza plex.
Only one that likely witnessed it before Monty was Dazzle with the balcony room. I’m sure Dazzle heard the mix of anger and distress Moon was going through that the deer was too scared to try to help so Dazzle stayed away, not wanting to make things worse.

If I was in Moon's shoes towards the end, and heard my family was still around, I'd run out to find them and call them all to meet up and do a huge family hug because of the horror he went through and needs his family to be within his arms. I'm sure they'd all agree for a family hug, no questions, just let Moon live out the relief they were still okay and with him.

Reed is such an amazing voice actor. Moon's breakdowns always feel so visceral and genuine. And I will say, it would be interesting if Moon started hallucinating, if it was utilized in a different way to Sun's.

Edit: i have a theory but its not really logical.
So i think that the entire thing was a dream (ofc), and Moon was sleepwalking the whole time. When Solar touched Moon that may have been Moon touching something in the daycare that felt similar to Solar. And he sleep walked all the way to parts and service where Ruin was and he woke up punching the ground.
Or he just has schizophrenia...
Like i said, this isnt very logical of what could have happened, I just thought of this.

I love Monica! Even though they aren't as close as they were with OG Moon, still the gator had heart to check in on Moon. No matter if they were checking on the FC suit in the works or not for the original reason they were in Parts and Services. They noticed Moon was struggling in Ruin's former cell and changed to comfort him instead of whatever they were gonna do down there before. So sweet. The gator understands they aren't close but still keeps that relationship alive on their end, even if New Moon isn't able to return that friendship. It's not because the gator is dating Earth, or besties with Lunar. No, they wanted to be a good friend to New Moon. No trying to look good to win anyone over. Just honest friendship!!!
I believe that Forkface had caused this trance/nightmare Moon went through. It makes sense because Moon is still grieving and such that Forkface thirst for fear and doubt he'd get drawn towards Moon. We know that Forkface doesn't have to be physically near his victims for his ability to work. Yet also he dug up another lesson to be learned. With Blood twins I believe he wanted to teach them a healthy dose of fear is normal to feel so they wouldn't be overconfident and get wrecked. With New Moon, it's he doubts he's smarter or as smart as OG Moon. Even though OG Moon told him that he's smarter. New Moon is struggling to see that reality. He is holding back his potential by not believing it. I believe Forkface wanted him to see that New Moon is smarter than he believes he is and shouldn't deny it and let the potential flow.

Amazing Episode!!! So emotional, we finally get to see and feel everything that Moon is going through at this time of grief. Doubts and what if's always come through our minds, especially when losing someone so close to us, than we start fearing who else we can lose and start making up what if this happened? We always start fearing the worst and than that can cause nightmares or real traumatic dissociation like what moon is experiencing where you relive those traumatic experiences and emotions even with slight differences and get caught in fight and flight mode. It took with Montys help some grounding to try and snap him out of it and bring him back to reality. Im praying so hard right now that Moon keeps getting alot of love and support from the crew as Solars death has truely hit him the hardest. Sun and Moon show, please dont play with my heart, is Solar pleassssse coming back 🥺 Poor Moon and us fans need our beloved candycorn back 💙🧡 xxxx
This is so painful to watch, poor Moon. 💜💜💜💜 If this was to be the alternate ending to saving Solar and stopping Ruin from his plan, then Moon would've lost a brother either way of the outcome. This nightmare he's having is the stress and grief of losing Solar and how much he misses him. Everyone wants Solar back but not at the cost of a family member or friend. 💜💜💜💜

I do wonder if this is likely Frank's doing, based on the lore we got on MGFS about him. Moon's greatest fear is losing his family, and his biggest regret is not stopping Ruin when he had the chance. But in this...it's showing what could've happened if he DID stop Ruin. In saving Solar, he lost Lunar, Earth, AND Sun. It hurts to say but...Solar dying was literally the best outcome.
This also feels like a subtle way of telling Moon to be thankful and grateful for the family he still has, as he keeps focusing on what he could have done instead of what he has right in front of him.
I know😭 (I had a dream like this where Moon was just in denial while Solar and Sun were trying to calm him down, this is so weird for me bc I feel like I'm having deja vu-)
I didn't even think about Frank possibly doing this...
I legit thought that thing nightmare was due to stress and feelings about trying to get Solar back/not ready to move on... Thought that his mind conjured up a twisted 'what if' scenario, where Solar lives but Moon remembers the possible consequences that could occur (from Ruin talking about the Creator council, The Creator himself wanting Lunar to help get closer to achieve becoming a god... Something like that)
I also kinda forgot about Frank not being a (possible) ally anymore lol
That perspective is also somewhat selfish from a general vision. Thinking: "Well, billions of lives were lost but at least I have most of my family still alive."
I really hope this "nightmare" is a reflection of the guilt Moon feels for thinking this way, his brain trying to convince him that things could have been worse, but there's really no way to know what would have actually happened.
And I don't want to believe that the story really wants to "make us feel better" about the fact that the elimination of so many innocent dimensions couldn't be prevented simply by having other cast members end up dead. It's pretty low and bad emotional manipulation.

I hope it's just a hallucination Moon has had caused by the conflicting emotions between the guilt he feels for having failed and the relief that most of her family are still okay.

I find it kinda funny but also rather smart that Monty's first thought to prove to Moon what was real was to punch him in the face but not before preemptively apologizing for it.
Maybe Frank gave him this nightmare. We know Moon’s fear is losing the ones he loves and all the false hope he’s been getting at every corner.

This is a terrifying idea, that if they had succeeded in stopping Ruin and Solar had lived, that things could have ended up worse than they are. I feel so bad for Moon, but maybe it's what he needed for him to understand that it's for the best? You can't change the past.
(And as always big props to the actors because holy heck the acting is amazing)

Moon has been in that cell thinking about how everything WOULD have been, having a full dream sequence, which is the logical answer. But considering the sun and moon show is no stranger to plot twists, This could be a split timeline, a time where roles were switched, Solar and Sun swapping, which is a possibility. 43% sure it's number 2
Lore!
After the FNAF security breach game Sundrop and Moondrop decided to do the impossible. He built a body for himself and separated from his brother when he did this he left a part of his kill code behind thinking that it wouldn't affect Sundrop, it did not affect Sundrop but it developed its own personality forming eclipse, Eclipse eventually burrowed into sundrops head until July 16th where it is believed he took out 12 kids a little bit after this event Moon drops started the sun and moon show as a distraction, maybe a bit of a coping skill for Sundrop. Sundrop and Moondrop started making reaction videos and playing games but things quickly got Sinister as Eclipse started gaining way more more consciousness and showed himself as a prevailing character soon Eclipse would start saying disturbing things through son eventually showing himself to Moondrop. As the year continued to go on Eclipse was planning something he had a new Target now, not just freedom, a device Moon had created to harvest the power of creation. soon in a hilarious episode of sun and Moon show we see that Moon has a counterpart named lunar, his first words were “tickle cuttlefish number 17” We soon learn more about Lunar’s existence, Eclipse that made Lunar to be his counterpart seeing how well Sun and Moon work together he assumed that Lunar would be a good match but not before he tried to make someone else, we don't learn about it until very later on but Eclipse had tried to make a companion before lunar named Bloodmoon his Pure Drive blood and chaos.(Eclipse was absolutely evil for this, they made it so blood moon I can never want to do anything besides from get blood he cannot function without blood, it's like a human not being able to get any sleep he'll eventually just go insane Fall Apart)
Eclipse had been planning for a while torturing Moon and Sun for a while his plan got put into motion on October 1st,
THE FIRST OCTOBER ARC!!!
he trapped Moon in his own head making it so anytime Lunar (who had proceeded take over the Moon’s body)
moved Moon would feel excruciating pain making it so Moon cannot Escape his own mindscape Eclipse took over son and they continued to go throughout the month taking over the show. At the end of October after Monty had had a talk with Lunar he betrayed Eclipse, getting into cohorts with Moon and a big battle pursued where they "killed" Eclipse. Soon the Bloodmoon became a threat going around causing senseless violence. Moon started to Tire himself out very fast has he went around what we can only assume the whole world looking for all of Eclipse's backups and destroying them, his friend Monty eventually found him and forced Moon to take a break, little did Monty know that this would eventually cause some problems, in a episode that honestly gave me excitement and fear at the same time eclipse came back being quoted as "did you really think you could kill me that easily" giving the same Vibe as William afton's favorite line "I always come back" Eclipse built himself a body and eventually went into hiding but not before messing with Moon some more making his kill code come back, and now we have kill code who eventually partnered up with Moon so that he would only kill bad people, God do I wish that Creator was in reach of kill code soon kill code Got in cohorts with eclipse and Bloodmoon proclaiming them as his children seeing as they were all made from parts of his code, god dammit that was some Darth Vader stuff. Oh and the Fazbear sent a replacement for Sun and Moon who they named "forkface". and now Eclipse out of a fit of stupidity decided that he would become a building, yes he became the computer systems throughout a building kill code (KC for short) eventually decided that he was done killing people and became good, Bloodmoon eventually went off and faced Sundrop getting brutally blasted by Sundrop after saying “you won't kill me your to weak”
but now Sun is haunted by his actions and Bloodmoon started seeing him everywhere, Bloodmoon continues to urge Sun to snap. Luckily Moon was there for Sun the whole time, and now for one of the most heartbreaking episodes ever, kill code couldn't separate from Moon drop kill code wanted to become good again he wanted to help people and moon drop and one of the most selfless Acts decided that he was going to let Gill code free even though it meant that Moon would lose almost all of his memory. And we know in Sundrop is having a hard time dealing with that continuously scared that Moondrop is going to revert to his old ways of being a "b****" sun's words exactly
Soon we got a new character named Earth Sun, Lunar and Moon's sister after the
Creator decided to make Sun and Moon a more female motherly counterpart after being quoted as saying
“you two give more of a creepy Uncle vibe" I love that for you Creator go get them and then go get a plane ride directly into the sun cuz nobody likes you 🤗
Earth shows up after a month because she got distracted frolicking through flower fields. (That's a vibe) We soon discovered that Moon’s friend Monty has a crush on Earth.
Soon something traumatizing happens “wow really this never happens” (sarcasm) An insane Maniac going by the name of Ruin Eclipse and he is coming to do one thing, from what we (and moon) know kill the Creator, Ruin is another version of Sun and Moon when they decided to fuse themselves instead of separate soon something called the “Ruin Virus” infected them from what I know and they became an insane British man, then and again aren't all British men insane. Now something even more traumatizing happens Lunar gets blown up while running directly towards Monty after he left trying to avoid all of the drama from Sun and Moon, (womp womp) Ok I can't even tell with certainty what is going on. Monty quickly went to his space base and tried to recreate Lunar, but eventually he had to leave space in hopes for lunar safe return as Eclipse threatened him, little did anyone know at this point being born in space gives you powers… why? Just why? I'm becoming an astronaut. I want my babies to have powers but we'll get to that later. soon lunar was rebuilt Sun started to learn how to harvest “star power” and use it, in a beautiful nerd battle they fight eclipse and Sun uses Kamehameha (he literally shouted call me home aha before blasting Eclipse) with the star power sending Eclipse to another dimension where he would be blown the up. before Eclipse died he was trying to warn sun and moon about lunar and to kill him when he came back because of those magical star baby powers, we love that for you Eclipse, soon in a heartbreaking video Eclipse and a counterpart that I have not yet to introduce because I hate him (and he doesn't really do anything important besides from… he literally does nothing he's just there) named Solar Flare die, Lunar comes back thinking he's going to have a good time.
( cue Sans lunar cuz you're going to have a bad time) In a trauma response to being blown up he started running around, walking and never stopping. In a hilarious yet tragic video we get to see that Lunar is traumatized and tries to suffocate himself… (Ok I see how that sounds but he was mostly just doing it to be dramatic he stated he didn't actually want to hurt himself but out of this episode we get one of the best lines ever which is him screaming as loud as he can “I'M LUNAR” For a box of Chip ahoys) Despite all of this Earth tries to soothe him, good Eclipse eventually decides “I'm done with my world constantly being verbally abused for someone else's bad choices” moved in with Sun and Moon. now we have a happy little family, oh wait it's not happy they just cannot catch a break! Part 2 in
PART 2 Ruin, after escaping Moon's hold decided to rebuilt blood moon, in a hilarious yet traumatizing video (I don't know if it's just me or they mean for these episodes to be funny but I got a bad sense of humor) Bloodmoon comes back for reals this time confronting Sundrop and threatening to torture him, but saying that someone won't let him kill sundrop. Hmm I wonder who (sarcasm I think we all know) We get the October Ark after Ruin tricks Moon into going away from the daycare to visit their creator, soon they come back to the daycare and find Ruin. Moon being the genius he is decided to turn on the portal where Ruin had planted the bomb which eventually ended up blowing up the daycare and transporting Sun and Moon into Ruin’s dimension being stuck there for all of October, we got some hilarious gameplay and some Sinister warnings in October the Ruin and Bloodmoon Ark, soon good Eclipse convinces Bloodmoon to help him out so he could get out of Ruin's grasp promising him freedom, Sun and Moon will visiting the Creator in Ruins Dimensions steal the Ruin virus cure. Small tangent I don't think there is actually a virus cure, why would the Creator make that. I think the most you would make is an immobilizer maybe something that made them a little less crazy so he could reason with them but I don't think he'd make an actual ruin cure saying as his Dimension was already going to be brought to an end really soon and the most he would need is a quick way to escape if one of them ever found him offering a cure to people who are suffering from a disease that you created doesn't really sound like the Creator.

Sun and Moon make it through a portal back to good Eclipse and now Bloodmoon. In probably one of the best episodes yet Bloodmoon gets caught with his shenanigans and gets paralyzed, Sun and Moon in an epic face off against Ruin chasing him around and eventually stabbed the Ruin “cure” (still not buying it) into him which ends up letting Bloodmoon go, great we let a homicidal Maniac Run free good job Eclipse… and now Ruin seems to be on his side and according to ruin the last thing he can remember the year was is 2017, this came out in 2023 so he's behind. The next episode is where we are Lunar lost his voice
(the voice actor just lost his voice for a little bit I'm pretty sure it was because during the finale of the October Arc he had to scream a lot so I'd lose my voice too)
Sundrop forced Earth to learn how to drive a car… eventually ending up in her crashing it, she opened a bakery… It got overrun with raccoons. then got revenge on Sundrop for the car. Moon went missing and Lunar's voice was still broken and Earth turned normal sized for a while… I don't know why this became a part of the lore video but she apparently got shrinked for a little bit. and now Lunar's voice is fixed!!! And now Bloodmoon attacked Earth… killing them? We don't know yet and Lunar lost control of his powers which he is now reasonably freaking out about because Gemini told him not to or there would be consequences…
So nothing happened to lunar the oh and just a small thing it's not really going to matter but ECLIPSE IS BACK AGAIN!!! Why does he keep coming back??? Can he stop pulling a William Afton pleasBe? So eventually they are all playing games and enjoying themselves, and now Bloodmoon faces off against the Stitchrath, a new character we were not introduced to until Bloodmoon fought him he has the same goal that a lot of these villains have, kill all of the creators for no reason besides the fact that yes they're bad people but no one succeeded can we just stop. On that note , Lunar eventually fully regained control of his power and then Sun and Moon started working with Eclipse trying to figure out who his creator was for creating him again because they all mutually agree that whoever is making Eclipse again and again has malicious intent. (I think it's ruin) Lunar killed the Eclipse. I feel bad about the mental breakdown he had right after… I'm still proud of him... Lunar is getting hated on so hard.

Gemini is spitting straight facts right now and I'm not even mad at them lunar kind of just went against everything Gemini taught them, I'm not saying what Lunar did is wrong cuz from a traumatized and abused standpoint myself I completely understand it but holy s*** Lunar just electrified and pulled apart every atom in Eclipse’s body.

Eclipse is back… again. (Ok William calm down) Lunar and earth are still having problems but I can understand both sides, ruin is evil… I know “wow really, sooo surprising” (I'm being sarcastic) … and i'm not surprised. Solar is dead, Ruin, on a whim (and his fear of the creators) decided to destroy thousands of universes along with Solar's universe. So now solar is dead and everyone is having mental breakdowns left and right (why not just overly traumatized your characters😒) Eclipse got attacked by the evil Sun and everyone is traumatized. ( when have they not been) Moon is preparing to talk to his past self to get some sort of clarity, and Lunar and Earth are dealing with something stalking/haunting them (Dazzle) and they just found out it can talk SUN AND MOON SHOWS 2 YEARS ANNIVERSARY
And now Moon has talked to his past self and gotten some clarity and more emotional baggage which leads to Moon having a mental breakdown. Now we all get to meet Dazzle and as adorable as they are… just wow she is terrifying and acts like a kid but is the most menacing creature I have seen… SHE IS 12 FT TALL!!! Now we get an episode of Sun being the best brother ever and giving Moon a day off. So Sun and earth were teaching Dazzle... basic human stuff like how to write and read in the concept of time And everyone is getting therapy except for Earth which I believe is going to lead to her having a mental breakdown. Jack tried to date but it did not go well. Gemini talked to Lunar

Gemini is such a asshole first of all emotionally manipulating lunar and feeling like an a******, second of all saying I have nothing to apologize for even though they have everything to apologize for like I don't know affecting lunar's mental health to the point where he stopped having all emotion for weeks, number three they said oh well you haven't showed us that you're sorry when he couldn't one they weren't there too he showed the person that he killed his abuser that he was sorry and showed a level of emotional maturity that most adults don't have that Gemini doesn't have by talking to Eclipse and forgiving him for all the abuse, and Eclipse killing Lunar! 12:20 Poor Moon, I believe instead of hallucinating he is experiencing a bad dream like Earth did when she couldn't save Lunar from Bloodmoon. A dream where everything is wrong, but is sheathed to seem like everything is the same. In Earth's dream she gets angry at Bloodmoon, talking about the fact he hurt Lunar, and then she talks about how it's her fault that she's not perfect or good enough and that's why she couldn't save Lunar. Moon goes through roughly the same thing where he antagonizes the perpetrator and then antagonizes himself saying he's not as smart as the Old Moon, and that the old Moon could've stopped Ruin, unlike him. These bad dreams start with denial, bargaining, and usually end with anger or depression.

I don’t blame that Dazzle didn’t try to help out. It seems that this was in the morning of the day Lunar’s attempted kidnapping. So the deer would be up in the balcony room. I don’t blame if Dazzle was scared of Moon’s panic and distressed arguing within his slumber.
I can only guess that Dazzle might have texted Jack that Moon is being loud and scary right now because the deer was worried for Moon. Then Jack (possibly guarding Molten as Sun and Moon asked of him) contacted Monty about Moon situation since he couldn’t leave his post. I’m sure the gator put their number in Jack’s contacts when fixing Jack. So if the gator didn’t hear or seen Moon sleep walking a nightmare out, then Monica was able to tail Moon as he moved to the basement just to make sure Moon would be safe.
Also it’s very kind that the gator didn’t broadcast the incident as they could tell that Moon was struggling and felt perhaps Forkface was never by making Moon experience that nightmare. The gator was gentle when Moon woken up and was calm telling him that his family were still safe. Monica will allow Moon to tell his siblings about his sleep walking nightmare experience.
It’s liking it was caused by high stress Moon was going through that made him sleep walk. I’m sure his siblings will wanna make sure that they can be there for Moon and try to gently stop the sleep walking in the future since they are all gonna stay with Sun and Moon after all of today’s events.
And when I say they could try to stop the sleep walking in the future I meant have some precautions. Like disable the teleporters to work for Moon unless he has someone with him (you know make sure he is wake) to stop him from trying to play out another nightmare like this.
If Sun died, moon would be in denial, but seriously, did anyone get flashbacks from when sun started seeing blood moon after he literally died?
