Na. Don't really care about what anyone believes. Went to the Gym 6 times a week when I went to school/ Uni. Now having a job makes things just much mroe difficult and I am happy if I can go 2-3 times a week. So to answer your question: Life get's in the way.
I used the "I don't have time" excuse for a long time. There are good programs that take 3 x 1hour a week. It takes being smart and objective, but if you have a steady career, you definitely are both. Things like supersets also help.
Unless you’re doing hard labor forcing yourself to go will always give you more energy than not going. The endorphins after exercise and overall energy levels improve. Literally just overriding your “im too tired” response and driving straight to the gym is the he best method. If your job is physical then thats a different type of tired where I can understand skipping the gym.

I've been much more frequent in the last 4 years... by REDUCING the workout intensity. "Anything worth doing, is worth doing just a little of it". I tended to always start raising the bar on effort, more reps, heavier weight, more sets, or just "functional" cross-fit type of workout and making it super-hard, where I get to the point that I have any excuse to skip it: something always hurt(I got myself a disk-bulge + scoliosis), sometimes it took too much time in time (I've never been a instagram gymer, actually worked out), I haven't fully recovered (which was probably true), etc. I'm NO pro athlete, I have a job, I can't always sleep well, my nutrition can't always be on point.
