Haha hater tots bruh. That’s funny. It was said in jest, and I know he meant nothing by it. Just one of those phrases that define phases. Thanks about the video and ok definitely will film the first string change. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
just found your video. Really in depth and you actually show every part of the guitar. Other youtubers I have seen review this preferred to keep their videos shorter and more on the sound rather than the details. Amazing job!
Thanks man!! I really enjoy doing deeper dives like this into gear that is worth it. I am just wrapping up a video right now that is another deep one. Glad you enjoyed the vid, it’s a killer guitar! 🤘🏻
I Just Got My Lefty Headless GW2 they sent me it's the Purple Burl Poplar Satin Finish or Matte and it's tye most amazing pickups and action and comfortable guitar it's good as any they would charge a Grand and up for I love it and you can never be to old for one of these cause they are easier to play and lighter you will never set it down Rock On!!
I can see a proper size T handle hex wrench would make a bigger better tuning wrench to keep in a gig bag or case. Save the "easy lost" wrench for emergency use.
oh my! I'm in love, definitely getting one. Will probably have a problem to resist picking two of these right away. One for home and one for work :) Thank you for the review. I will get the exact same guitar - not a fan of the ones with veneer tops.
I have the other black one. It's a great guitar. Pickups were pretty nice but I switched to the 81/85 set. I had room to mount the 9v in the cavity. Switched strings to 8's. It plays beautifully. I still like my Strandberg better but I use 10's on it because that gauge seems to work on that particular guitar. The neck on my Strandberg is like glass and it's shape makes me aware of my thumb placement. Still love my Eart.
I was really torn between the poplar burl Natural model and that black one. I am totally a tremolo guy so I went with the GW2 I think it is called. I think it is a great tremolo. Very light and easy to use. I don't typically dive bomb the hell out of it but it will probably do that ok. I think honestly if there is ANY gripe, I have about the Electric Arts Headless guitars it is that they could have smoothed some of the sharper edges on the body a bit and it would be both nicer looking but also even more comfortable to play then it already is. It has quickly turned into my goto guitar. It really is an amazing value. Oh and BTW mine is a Poplar burl but it has an Ashwood body...
Oh cool, I didn’t think the did the poplar on ash, thanks for mentioning that here. I have been a trem and Floyd guy forever, it would be cool to have something like the old Steinberger adjustable and locking trem that could transpose on something like this. I agree about the ends of the body, this is a hard angle. It doesn’t bother me when playing, but something I noticed while holding and inspecting it. Thanks for checking out the video🤘🏻
@@DoubleDguitar Agreed. The Tremolo is actually an adjustable and locking trem tho. I watched many videos on this guitar before I bought it and many lamented the tremolo. I actually find it quite good and does not seem to go out of tune the way some folks seemed to say it does. Again Perhaps they are really dive bombing it like crazy. I mostly use it for a kind of vibrato effect and the occasional medium dive. I have considered taking the whole thing apart and radiusing the edges of the guitar and then refinishing it. Also one of the main things that annoyed me was that they initially made the body to look much more like the strandberg models. I wanted one of those but in the time I spent watching youtube videos and trying to decide which one of the headless models I wanted they changed the design of the body. The new body is nice and again very comfortable but I think the older body looks much better.
@@petermatos4613 let me know if you do the edges, or post pics in the group. I will have to look into the trem model. Some good string stretching until no movement happens is the key with locking trems, or even most tuners, I find.
Hey Joel!! Dude, you would absolutely dig one of these. Many styles and some great features on all the models. Thanks for checking out the video, brother! Only as old as we feel🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Nice looking axe. Never too old, anyway we old guys do rule! I'm looking at them now. Sounds good, looks comfortable, and seems easy to play. I like the stainless steel frets. Let's see the string change please.
These are really great guitars. I wish I had seen the one with the trem, maybe next time. And definitely will do a string change video. I have played this every day. Thanks Perch!
I bought one of these I think it was earlier this year maybe late last year. I'm nowhere near as good at guitar as you but I've enjoyed mine. Solid guitar and nice price for a first little dip into headless guitars. That said, I do feel like for an extra 150 getting something like a Schecter Omen Elite is a much better deal, but it's also not a headless with a cutout for classical position which was a big selling point for the eart to me.
Thanks man, I appreciate that. I have been really working on some fun exercises and this guitar makes playing in my small space a lot more enjoyable. I totally agree about the classical and standard playing positions, both feel great. I had a Schecter 6 and also an 8 and they both were great for the money. Neither had the fretwork that this has, though. I do miss that SoCal however lol. Thanks for checking out the video! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Спасибо за видео. Да, вы правы: Черные гитары - это ясень. Другие гитары - это падук (paduk). Я купил себе черную. Мне она очень нравится. Единственный минус это низкие лады. Пальцы трутся об накладку грифа.
They packed that guitar really well, I've seen other videos where it only had a few wedges in a box and nothing protecting the fretboard, not sure if I should order direct from their website or if Amazon is no different.
It did arrive well packed, that is surprising to hear. It is so quick with Amazon, I am not sure how long with their site. Still a great guitar to grab and play.
Practical question. No Headstock but is there anywhere you can clip a headstock tuner on it ? Strandbergs have a support behind the string locks which would probably work but doesnt look as if the EART could ?
Sorry, I don't get it: did you plug in headphones to the guitar? How does it sound? What headphones? I was thinking of buying the Pro version as it has a different (and Maybe) better/easier bridge...What do y' think about it? Thanks!
Hey man, yeah the little practice amp goes into the guitar and then headphones right into it. Fun little thing. I have heard the pro is good, but in the fb group a lot of people seem to like this one just a little better. It’s kind of subjective, but I have grown to really like this bridge. And the neck is amazing. If you are on fb, maybe jump into the group and see what some others say. It seems this one has all the bases covered, by most people’s comments there.
@@DoubleDguitar I have the first iteration. The one with the Strandberg-esque shape. I replaced the pups and the wiring not because they were bad, I like to tinker. The Eart 335 is next on my list.

I thought the same and it is a little tough to grab, but surprisingly enough it has stayed in place well. A good thick pick is much quicker, and a pluck on the string with my left hand while turning the tuner is how I tune up now.
