Honestly, these videos have gotten into my local card scene and its been so awesome :) I have a group of kids teaching me to play and even help sort my cards. We spent HOURS sorting yesterday and I gave him a Roaring moon EX i pulled as a thank you for his time and effort. I am so surprised how supportive and welcoming the card community has been so far.
Thats what im thinking. I dont get the craze with how the cards are priced. Like a charzard psa 10 first edition is something like 50k+. How are you going to look at a down payment for a house and spend it on cardboard and ink. I get that hole print numbers and mint gem survivability rate from 1997 to 2024 but...... thats a down payment for a house or about a billion other things I could list. My car doesnt even cost that much. I also wonder how long it would take to sell with the asking price of them now vs how much it would go for in a no reserve, penny starting price auction.

I saw the fucking dude pull out 50k in paper cash. Like wtf. Then the following day he did it again saying he wants to make sure to spend all the cash he brought. Collectibles brings out the crazy in people and this is just pokemon cards. Sports related items? I’ve seen signed jerseys, balls, shoes and more at minimum prices of 100k. And people leave with them at these conventions. Stop thinking “People are not doing this”. Start thinking, “I need someone to spend money on me.”😂
7:20 that is the newer style CGC label...the old ones are blue. That's what the regular GEM MT 10s look like, then there's the Pristine 10s with the big gold "10"
Was that base set pack resealed?? If you look at the cards at 15:20 they look like they're different shades of blue which makes me think a resealed pack. You may have been ripped off
