Have a great weekend everyone! Friday the 13th yesterday was a good one for me and finally been able to spend some time doing selfie along the Pililia Windfarm. Here it is - my second drive to Altenergy's Pililia Rizal Windfarm. Special Thanks to Ms Kara Santos of Travel up! Siguro ang Villaverde trail ganito rin puro green and hills?
kaya pala natin magkaroon iyan eh bukod sa ilocos norte. dapat marami taying ganyan since itong bansa ay typhoon-prone country eh kapag bumabagyo dito, wind urbines ang makikinabang. tapos, kapag sobrang init naman dito, yung solar panels ang makikinabang via solar power. pagsamahin mo sila, kasama ng geothermal energy, marami na tayong electricity at mumura pa ang bayad o kung puwede, libre. saka puwede ilipat ang tubig sa agriculture kasi majority ang load ng tubig eh napupunta sa kuryente kaya pag nag drought, tataas ang bayarin
Correct me if I am wrong, dmitri.. Scroll back to that Y in the road, where you U-turned to watch the sunset and head back the way you came. The guard said that the downward road leads to Camp Capinpin, Tanay. But if I am not mistaken, your location was facing west, where the sun was setting. West is Laguna de Bay. Camp Capinpin in Tanay is by Marcos Highway which is North of Pililia. Although Camp Capinpin is higher in elevation, it should not be anywhere close to Laguna de Bay unless one is on high location to even see a peek of the lake. It is interesting to note that the guards claim that it can get chilly at night, needing 3 jackets on top of the other. It must be the wind chill factor coming from the lake as we can see Pililia is not as high in elevation as Tanay, which can get chilly and foggy even in the afternoon. Anyway, the wind must be constant there, which makes it an ideal location for the Altenergy wind farm. Keep on video recording your trips, dmitri. Your latest NAIA video just shows that that skyway will be an ugly tangle of ramps and loops. A pity, if only NAIA allowed the original plan of a tunnel to cross under the runways, those skyways won't blot the sky as it already does. And just imagine how the C-5 Skyway junction will look in a few years time because CAVITEx is extending through Merville and crossing Skyway at grade to connect to C-5. That area of Skyway will be a jumble of ramps and loops, and we are not yet including the new access ramp to the former FTI which will be a Intermodal transport terminal for provincial buses and the C6-metro manila expwy - Bicutan link to the elevated Skyway. It will be a veritable series of spaghetti junctions from Magallanes to Bicutan !
+tfhermoso sir, the dirt road will lead you to sampaloc area from checking the maps near Camp Capinpin and ending up in Marliaque / Marcos Hwy. With regards to NAIA it is there already.. so we have no other choice but to get used to it hehehe :-) I hope the intersection of Roxas and Mia Road will be resolved. Traffic there was terrible...

I can see it from the 4th floor in Laguna, but barely making the windmill out but if weather permits you can see its blades rotating
