I lived like this for 33 years before a doctor diagnosed me.
I didn't realize my body was in horrible pain 24/7 for my entire life.
I would eat and drink entire meals in my sleep from craving sugar or nutrients.
I was driven to schizophrenia like symptoms and even outright hallucinations.
I was 140 lbs and pre diabetic.
    Don't ignore your body.
    You'll regret it.

Yeah I’m 31, I just went to the eye doctors as I’m investigating a possible connective tissue and autoimmune disorder and have had myopia, astigmatism, photophobia and distorted vision (phosphenes/visual snow/strobing/flickering/bright flashes etc) most of my life. I complained did exhaustion and pain in my eye sockets or of swelling on my orbital bones, wildly fluctuating vision etc. my dad also has a lot of eye issues. I made the mistake of mentioning I’d had genetic testing as it showed iWas a carrier for retinitis pigmentosa, leber congenital amourosa, corneal dystrophy, cone rod dystrophy and macular degeneration (largely x linked like my autism) he wrote to my GP telling her I need to stop looking on the internet or getting testing like I did because I’m paranoid and anxious and don’t need it. Guess wha else came up on the genetic test- hashimotos and Graves’ disease. Guess what came up on my blood test, elevated thyroid antibodies suggesting one or both of those conditions. Guess what another symptom of Grave’s is… EYE PAIN!!!!!

I had a thyroid storm at 19 after recently moving out of the house. I thought I was losing my mind and was extremely paranoid and sleep deprived. My friend said he came to visit me and steam was literally coming off my body when outside in the winter...he said he'll never forget it. I honestly don't even remember that or much because it was such a traumatic time!

What is the point wether you have these symptoms or not, doctors won’t diagnose you unless you fit the one blood reference range fits all. They don’t do the full panel blood tests. The reference ranges change so you can be showing abnormal one week, then they change the ranges and your showing normal. Genetic maternal and paternal familial histories are ignored, even when your children have been diagnosed with abnormal ranges.
