Another thing that has sold well, throughout human history can not really be discussed on a PG-13 video. ... Unless you have some VERY interesting manufacturing and housing faculities the "Oldest Profession" might not be a thing you can actually produce :)
wouldn't it be better to make a themed difficulty playthrough instead of the normal 100% difficulty playthrough ex: high polution intensity and low resource or will it not make much of a difference in playing/or is it not balanced enough to attempt it
One way to cut down on the traffic and have less issues with warehouse storage would be to use a water tower to distribute the water instead. It still needs trucks going to it, but it can then distribute water in an AOE without automagically without trucks :).
Transport Tycoon was one of the first games I ever played when it was released originally. Nice to finally see another game very much like it. I was considering buying the game before this video but I will wait a bit longer and a watch a few more episodes before deciding. It will really depend on many production tiers you can chain together.
Still the most new-user-friendly RoI tutorial out there, 2130 expac notwithstanding. Well played. (You probably know by now that Tavistock is due south from Wales, in south Devon btw).
Just got the game on sale and I tried playing it and kept going bankrupt! Googled a tutorial and found you covered it and was honestly so happy! It's been so long since I've watched a video of yours and this is bringing back all the good ol memories! Hope your ferrets are well!
They are doing wonderfully ^^ This morning, at breakfast, Ciri forgot she hadn't pulled her tongue back in (sometimes she sleeps with her tongue out) it lead to some hilariously cute moments XD
@@Aavak That's way too stinking cute! Little Ciri bleps haha :P I hope they're still being spoiled by salmon oil! I hope you're also doing well! I recall the last time I watched and commented on a video you were feeling very very unwell :( Truly hope your health is looking better now Aavak!
same @@carlywang3136 but i go bankrupt after i expand my research. Each time, i go broke later and later. At first i was sending trucks and trains accross the whole state lol
No no no! I am in no way, shape, or form more important than getting a good night's sleep before school XD The sentiment is very flattering, but don't push yourself to stay up to watch a video. It'll still be here in the morning / lunch time / when you get home ^^
no apologizes needed for the Chrono Trigger Gato alarm ringtone. I just hope that it does not get caught by the ravaging TH-cam copyright bots. It is an amazing ringtone to have as an alarm and just makes you that much more dapper.
mooooooooaaaaarrrrrr!!!! (edit: let me elaborate. I already loved your first peek at the game several months ago. It looked just like a games I would like to play. What I really enjoy is your style of explaining things. It makes so much sense and takes away any confusion. You helped me get into games that I previously wouldn't have tested/played at all. :) Thanks!
Kinda hoped you'd start in Chippenham, cause i live really close to it IRL :D happy to see that you're playing this again, really liked your last series on this!
Hey Aavak. I’ve been a loyal viewer for a while, in fact ever since your very first robocraft let’s play. I remember the days when I would check every couple hours to see if another one of your videos went up. You’ve been my favorite youtuber forever, and I just want to say keep it up. Your doing a great job. Every single video you upload always has me excited. I love your content, and I just want to say keep doing great. Also love your chill twitch streams. I’m sometimes the first there :)
When I read the title I immediately thought of Industry Giants and thought this was it, a tad disappointed it isnt that game but its still looks very interesting and hope to see more.
The problem with the warehouse as opposed to doing the setting manually is that deliveries cost money and the warehouse will draw all the items into it before distributing. This means items might move extra distance to get to their destination, which also costs more money.
Me: "This reminds me of Industry Giant" 1 second later Aavak: "This game has more than a passing resemblance to Industry Giant" Me: "Huh great minds think alike"
Yes, I remember the game. I thought I didn't know it at first but when I saw the apple icon and when you mentioned the state, I remember you selling to the state aka off map before.
While I have several criticisms of RoI, I think the main one is the inflexibility and lack of control the player has over demand/potential purchasers. Either give the player the option to purchase specific stores in a town or have most items in any given tree on sale in a that type of store, just with worse profit margins than the preferred goods. Balance and fun frustrations aside, it just doesn't make sense logically that a giant megacorporation with hundreds of farms and food plants wouldn't be able to set up a few convenience stores and restaurants to actually sell their produce, nor does it make a lick of sense that a town would refuse to buy a drop of booze until a liquor store happens to move in. It's just silly, but it severely kneecaps the player's ability to play the game they want to play.
This game isn't quite my type of game (I prefer a bit easier simulation type games), but I enjoy watching you play. There seems to be quite a lot to manage. I'll have to show my roommate because he he might enjoy it. He's a bit more of a logistics kind of guy and enjoys city builders. Thanks as always. I always enjoy your relaxing videos. ;)
I hope you don't plan on selling that orange water to the towns people... that sounds like a recipe for mobs armed with things that cause fire and property damage...
Hmm, must have dipped under your radar then, as I played it after Castle Doctrine. No worries though, it happens all the time (TH-cam's notification system is wonky, at best XD)
It's funny, I love watching let's plays of this game, but man do I hate playing it myself. I tried, but it is now the second game I had Steam refund. Just couldn't stand it. Still like watching other people play it. It's odd.
Shut You should be an officiall Tutorial how to understand game :) thanks , ive played demo and i lost like 15mln but anyways ive got game and now i can try to survive* :)
I'm uninstalling this, can't play for ****. text is so small i can't read, if i lower resolution it goes off the screen. Looks like a decent game though. -.-
I hope everyone's had an awesome weekend, and figured what better way to start a new week than with a new series!
A great new series
Thank u for the great video’s Aavak

Getting ready to move and it has been a little hectic but this was a good way to spend some of the down time I had
Aavak can you play keeper rl again

Watching with a friend
Friend: "Oh he's actually looking at all options"
Me: "He's gonna 100% choose by the name"
>_>
A production chain video game made by a studio called Dapper Penguin. It's almost like this is specifically made for Aavak.
One way to cut down on the traffic and have less issues with warehouse storage would be to use a water tower to distribute the water instead. It still needs trucks going to it, but it can then distribute water in an AOE without automagically without trucks :).
I know this is an old video but I'm new to the game and learned a lot. Thanks for a great series!

"If you own a graveyard you won't starve for business "
That is a great moto
Complete portable meal? Probably 7 course. Also probably self cooking, non-perishable, and tasty. Huh... that sounds like an achievement.
I really was thinking about buying it, but for now i can get by watching someone play it. Thanks for being awesome Aavak

Aavak u are to nice
I too find Aavak's voice SO soothing, a great way to relax before bed!
Every time you build a road, I could see an imaginary The Rock staring at me.

I'm so glad that my commentary has helped you get into games, it's the greatest praise you can give a Let's Player :)
Gonna be free
Kinda hoped you'd start in Chippenham, cause i live really close to it IRL :D happy to see that you're playing this again, really liked your last series on this!

I wasn't sure, but I'd like to see more. I'm intrigued.
So glad you're playing this again!!

If only pollution IRL were as easy to deal with. . .
Enjoyed the video!

the traffic in this game is kicking my ass
just bought the game and your videos help so much more than the tutorial
Congrats on 200k subs
Thanks Cuba :)
Aavak - little tip.
Build One way roads in parrarel (going in each direction). Traffic can become hell
If you own a graveyard your customers are just dying to get in

Aye, a small sacrifice in order to have near infinite delivery slots.
Ah, the beautiful [ɬ] sound. Voiceless dental-alveolar lateral fricatives of the world, unite!
I came to the comments looking for a fellow person-who-likes-ɬ and was not disappointed
This is a solid game for a long series.
Hey Aavak, could you change the ui scale? It seens so small.
i really looking for games like this or better, any idea?
Me: "This reminds me of Industry Giant"
1 second later Aavak: "This game has more than a passing resemblance to Industry Giant"
Me: "Huh great minds think alike"
Yes, I remember the game.

Extra water to a paper mill
I hope you don't plan on selling that orange water to the towns people... that sounds like a recipe for mobs armed with things that cause fire and property damage...
I've been here since, I believe, The Castle Doctrine. Maybe sooner. I don't remember rise of industry :(
Hmm, must have dipped under your radar then, as I played it after Castle Doctrine. No worries though, it happens all the time (TH-cam's notification system is wonky, at best XD)
I usually try to see a good bit of your series. A shame I missed the early access with this game.
baby steps mate
And free on Epic games this week.
yey, let's see what Epic games give us today - i can't really wait to play this game ( * sarcasm * )
Hurray, Project Automata is out!
Aavak, you are going to ruin me
I'm from Oswestry! I'd like to correct you though; it is not a village, it is in fact a shit-hole. :)
Looks like sim city 2000
It's funny, I love watching let's plays of this game, but man do I hate playing it myself. I tried, but it is now the second game I had Steam refund. Just couldn't stand it. Still like watching other people play it. It's odd.
What's the problem with using Welsh names? Wales is part of England, isn't it? ;)
I thought this was a tutorial but you talk to fast for me to take in what you are saying.
Shut You should be an officiall Tutorial how to understand game :) thanks , ive played demo and i lost like 15mln but anyways ive got game and now i can try to survive* :)

I don`t understand this game ...
I'm uninstalling this, can't play for ****. text is so small i can't read, if i lower resolution it goes off the screen. Looks like a decent game though. -.-
