He Just covered problems with roof. On the long run he will have problems, best is to make and effort and put new since a good roof is absolutedly important.. Better to have a good roof and sleep on the floor.

There must be ten/hundred thousand of village houses being abandoned/deserted by the people either by the family who migrated to a city looking for a better future. Leaving behind the older folks who had since passed on!! Now the younger generation became disillusioned with city life and had decided to move back to the village, renovated and turned the old house into their dream home😂
