No, Cap went back in time, creating an alternate timeline where Sousa and Peggy didn't get together. The Sousa in Shield likewise comes from an alternate time from the one in Agent Carter.
In the end it all worked out she got an old fashioned kind of guy that treated women with respect from a different time and she got a sister that she always felt that was missing even though she's from an alternate timeline it doesn't matter it's her sister in every way DNA wise so it all worked out
Wow this is stunning I really loved Daniel and Daisy together they're connection was so strong and she needed someone nice and grounded and he is a gentleman and really cares about her she's never had that in a love interest someone who puts her first

And that was a shock to her a culture shot that men like him actually existed. In the end it was a win-win even though she lost a lot of boyfriends. And she gained her sister that she always felt something that was missing from her biologically it wasn't her sister but it was from an alternate timeline so in the end she got everything she wanted a family and a future husband.

Alternate timeline really sucks but when she was in that documentary talking about you know Captain America and they showed two pictures of her children on her desk but it didn't show the husband and I know the reason why she said about the man that she's married to she didn't mention his name and that was because they had to protect the sacred timeline one steep explain everything to her she understood and they went on to have a happy marriage but in that documentary she didn't even mention Steve she had to in order to protect the timeline but keep their happy timeline intact she really wanted him. Because he had heart and courage

So while guys did treat the women they were with, with respect like Dan there were also those who simply saw them as their maid, they belonged in the kitchen and the bedroom only seen but not heard. So while there are good things about those days there's also a lot to be thankful that we've moved on from there.
