@@WhyMikeWell sorry to break that theory, but it's just wrong. It's been confirmed lore wise for YEARS that the spirits of Afton's victims possess the animatronics. Mimic has literally nothing to do with them whatsoever.

The fnaf 4 song is the perspective of the crying child (Michael’s brother) Michael wasn’t scared of the animatronics his brother was and he talks about how he’s going to die like he does by Michael in the game.
Yeah and there was a line in the song where it says he has this headache, so this was after the bite of ‘83 and when he was in a medically induced coma.

The I Can’t Fix You song is sort of showing another way of how all the Sister Location characters merge into Ennard (another robot) and then the guy he was stabbing at the end is sort of showing another way of how Ennard used Michael Afton like a skin suit (although he survives) If I’m right that is, the lore is all over the place tbh
Die in a fire song is about when William went back to decommission the animatronics and the souls were released causing afton to get scared and enter the suit
What confounds me is that he’s trying to piece together lore without playing the most of the games.(which are very important to the lore if you don’t know)

The FNAF 3 song is from the perspective of William Afton, not Mike. (People didn't know about Michael Afton until after Sister Location.) Same thing with the FNAF 4 song. At the time people thought that is was the Crying Child (his little brother) who was seeing the nightmares, so the song is from the perspective of the Crying Child. With more evidence we have now (especially due to the drawings in the Survival Logbook), it's highly likely that the FNAF 4 gameplay section is Mike, but people wouldn't have known about him very much at the time.
The Sister Location song is from the perspective of Circus Baby singing to William Afton. (People thought that you played as Purple Guy/William when Sister Location first came out. Then Scott clarified with the Custom Night cutscenes that you were playing as Michael.)
The last song is more about the FNAF community rather than anything story related. Seems like you've watched all the FNAF songs from the Living Tombstone. As the lore opens up I start wondering if the bears are mimics and not really supernatural
@@WhyMike I'm not sure which bears you're talking about specifically, but the books don't say that the mimic1 program was used on older models. (If anything, it seems to be implied in the games that the mimic1 program was used on the Glamrock endoskeletons from the newer games and possibly also used during Help Wanted.) So far, there is no information implying that the mimic1 program was used on any of the animatronics from the old story (as in, during Scott's games). And Scott has said from FNAF 1 that there are indeed supernatural hauntings happening in the game, so the ghosts are indeed ghosts and not a mimic.
@WhyMike The Mimic is an entirely new concept. It has nothing to do with the original Fnaf story, which has already ended in Fnaf 6 with Ultimate Custom Night being the aftermath of it. Everything past UCN is completely new. Mimic has nothing to do with the possessions of the animatronics. They are possessed because of Remnant. This was already confirmed and explained years ago. But because you're new, you wouldn't really know that. I've been with Fnaf since its release back in 2014.

The whole premise of this comes from inside is the fnaf franchise basically speaking to the fans and creator about how they can't just let the series go and have a happy ending.

Man I love seeing someone get into the lore even if you’re still new to it and still have some information to gain. I remember when I first fell in love with this franchise it was a confusing but simple time for the series back then the fan theories the weird but funny (sometimes cringy *cough* fnaf school *cough* but I still loved it as a kid) Sfm videos . The gmod videos like veanteriantale and Minecraft mods and when it was considered genuine horror the animations like piemations and Garrett’s not scary videos and strange shipping videos like a weird video about the shadow animatronics and golden Freddy is evil but there dad and witherd Bonnie is in a relationship with toy chica man weird but nostalgic times and the weird ytp type of humor for mmd. I would most definitely recommend mmd fnaf one night of insanity with a lack of a budget and thehottestdog not for lore but to have a good fazbear laugh.

@THGMR-ox7sd Well the lyrics of that song itself can be interpreted as about the robots becoming self-aware about their restrictions and controllment by their creators, who only use them for money and entertainment. rather than treating them as their own selves with thoughts and perspectives, they wish to break free from their control and want to become beings with freedom, I personally don't think the visuals and the lyrics are explicitly connected. the song itself is about the robots becoming self-aware about their limitations and control/manipulation by their creators, some of the lyrics, for example, talk about a systemic awareness, a pre-existing dictum/programming, and how they are lonely despite their wisdom, the song suggests an internal struggle with the repetition of the title "this comes from inside" and calls out their creators for being "blinded by stardom" the animatronics yearn for what the creators have, control. its a song about the robot's wish for autonomy and self-determination.

The kid from fnaf 4 song is the crying child, Michael afton only was in his brother's room after the crying child died in the bite. Michael afton is a grown adult they won't give him a voice like that 😂

I believe the spirits never left because they wanted to get revenge on their killer
Example: Cassidy one of the two spirits possessing golden freddy refues to move on even after having their happiest day (minigame)
So yes it is by choice that they possess the animatronics but it's also not since they were stuffed inside the suits.
Their spirits were bound to where they died and the anger, fear and resentment kept their souls from being able to move on
so to make it short, (die in a fire) william destroyed the animatronics. circus baby killed elizabeth(williams daughter) the bite of 83 was the one that killed the crying child. (the bite of 87 was from fnaf 2, mangle bit the security guard (not micheal)) the kid in the latest song is gregory (not sure but i think matpat said gregory *is* the crying child) fnaf 4 song/i got no time was in the crying childs pov of the nightmares. Im pretty sure thats it. (also i heard in newer books william used hallucination gas to kill the kids but dont fully trust me as its not 100% complete)

To be honest the lore of FNAF is a bit confusing 😂 especially if you do not stay on top of it consistently.

at the time the song was made, there was no real context as to why he would come back to destroy the animatronics. it was implied that he really just hated the thought of the kids living on in any way, and sought to deprive them of what little life they had left
it was also a theroy that he was getting rid of the evidence, but the pizzeria was already closed at that point, and in the minigame we don't see any bodies being pulled out of suits, so the above theroy was the more popular of the 2.
