Our Heavenly Father is faithful. I know he will provide. The Lord gives us strength, it’s only because of the Lord I have persevered. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. My husband passed away years ago. I lost my job over declining the vaccine. LIKE MANY OTHERS! I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my children since losing my job from Forsyth hospital. I’m now waitressing, and I’m thankful, but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. Gas and groceries are super expensive. Already rent is due again. Every month is a battle to not end up on the streets with my two boys. I’m constantly in fear of losing my home. But even as I face homelessness seemingly every month. I have faith, God will provide. He has this far. Thank you Jesus.

It has been so helpful watching these videos and just hearing explanations for many questions that I have had. How do you pray every time before reading without it becoming monotonous? I feel like I have to pray, but also I feel like I have to pray a certain way (like my verbiage, to make sure I mention that I’m praying for understanding) and it doesn’t feel authentic. In some moments I don’t want to pray because of this (& partially having Matthew 6:7 in mind).
Better way to read a Bible. Is buy a good study bible it helps a lot I use McArthur study bible. And read Bible commentaries by old preachers like John Calvin etc . I've been a namesake christian all my life but its only been a year since I've been a new born believer .
The unsaved can understand the Gospel. Which is the power unto salvation. Then the Spirit reveals the deep truths that draw the believer into sanctification.
Amen. The Father loves his children. Go to him for help with anything. He will surely love to show you. English is my second language and KJV sure beats me and yet God gives me understanding. Every time I will ask Him : please show me and give me understanding of your word, what do you mean in this passage....He never fail. Just ask and wait...He never fail. Love Him. P/s. Hey, Ive been doubting my salvation but lemme explain why first which I will have to go back some years. Ok so when I was around the age of 9 I was exposed to pornography and got addicted to it then around september last year - September 2021, I thought I got saved or I may actually have gotten saved but i'm unsure now anyways around that time I stopped watching porn until around june of this year - June, 2022. So now I'm addicted to it again and still am and back when I wasnt addicted to it I used to preach to people the law and gospel but now I'm questioning whether im really saved or not cause ive fallen back into porn and im not sure if I love sin or hate sin and not sure if Im a slave to sin or just struggling because theres very little fight against my temptations basically no fight at all yet im not sure if I love or hate my sins. Another thing is I'm not sure if I have been wearing a mask basically - pretending to be a christain or actually a christain cause I did all the things some christains do. Such as sharing the gospel, praying reading the bible etc. Yet It seems that I may or may not have even had love for the lost and maybe it was just me treating it like cross it off the list sort of thing. Another thing is, Is that i'm not even sure id be willing to lose my life for the sake of the gospel and christ. I think it would take a situation like peter the apostles where he denied jesus 3 times to see if I would be willing to lose my life for the sake of christ and the gospel.

We are not saved by the written word, but the living word Jesus, and they, as like the Holy Spirit testify of Jesus. The word is threefold, as John Owen the old puritan taught, the written word of the scriptures(prophorikos), the indwelling word of the Holy Spirit(endiathetos) and the living word of Jesus Christ(hypostatikos). We are to through the reading, receiving, and meditating of the written word, by the power of the indwelling word, manifest the living word of Jesus. Remember we don't read the word to gain more knowledge about Jesus, we read it to know Him and His love, so we can walk in love.
If you want to start off with honesty 1st of all God never gave his word to the Gentile that book that history book the book of the law was stolen and if you don't read it by precept by precept mine upon line then you would never understand it
