First of all thanks so much for the shoutout! You can one shot the red Farm Bots using the method shown in this video but you need to throw them higher in the air. Lower the wheels using the controller slightly until you reach the point where it throws them up just a bit further. I can consistently kill them in one toss and have done so many times after my video was published. Also you can launch totebots, haybots and cows as well if the wheels are low enough but they do not take any fall damage. I tossed a haybot more than a dozen times and it still had full health. I do believe the fall damage to the bosses is probably not intended so take advantage of it while you can to farm those warehouse keys. Thanks again and keep scrappin.
I don't know if he really needs more warehouse keys because he already has a cube made out of them he used to troll the bosses as the keys are indestructible and by being inside the cube you're unkillable. It's like 54 keys or something like that. Anyways, gz for shout out and keep doing you!

Another thing that might be causing lag it when an empty vacuum pump tries to shoot, it's helped on my world to just have them on a switch when they are empty, might help. Like so scrapboi can see
If you count, you will see that one of the wheels was actually destroyed, as well as one of the T3 metal blocks. It's not really that big of a loss, but still... he probably didn't notice it at all, considering how many times he misses bots flying past his head. :D
Just add another bearing after the first block and then the wheels should spin double the speed, and even if they won't spin double the speed they should still be spinning fast anough to kill the boss in one shot.
Very cool of you to support Mediocre Milton ! He does do some interesting Scrap Mechanic test videos. It's interesting to note that in his "one shot" video, he usually fires a few spuds to get the farmbot interested in him BEFORE he "one shots" them with the wheels.

I’m so glad you shouted out Mediocre Milton. I found his videos a few weeks ago and found them super helpful and knew others would too. He’s already at almost 2k subs from your shoutout haha.
The lag is most likely from the glowbugs since it started after you created the glowbug farm. You could separate it from your base. Thats what i think. Anyone else agree with me? Edit: Ah i didnt see when you made the fix but the glowbugs will probobly make a Difference.
I have a big brain idea to have the pieces of your base seperate but still have them touch. Basically, I was thinking that in the gaps in between the two parts, you could put a bearing and connect it that way. Then all you need is a controller to set it to your default angle. That way, you could have them touch with no lag (hopefully).
It's possible that the reason your Boss Bots aren't getting oneshotted is because Milton was pulling aggro by shooting them, while you just approached them. And since it was evident the bots were on the verge of death anyway, that shot or two might be the difference between your results and Milton's. Might be others have already said this (noone as of writing this), but just in case.
Hey scrapman! it looks like that when you use the launch mechanic, the boss ragdolls as planned. I noticed that it loses some animations for a while though. It looks like that the animations are gone, but the boss can still function like normal. that is probably why the wheels got destroyed. The boss must have kicked your vehicle while the animations were broken. if you dont see this, that is fine. i just thought this would be helpful. Edit: i think you are doing the launch right. You might need 8 wheels at minimum purely for the built up torque. I dont think 7 wheels serves enough torque to one hit the boss. It might be 7 - 8 wheels at minimum to have enough torque to launch the boss high enough to 1 shot it. Again, just thought this might be helpful
dear scrap man, I want you to make a plane that drops a boat that drops a sub that releases a car please I've been spamming since 2019. PS Grammarly *mic drop*.
Get rid of the blocks between tires, stack the tires directly onto the other tire. For a 1 hit kill you need just a lil more power. If you stack two bearings on each side itll double the speed
In Milton's video he is capable of one-shotting the boss as he shots the boss twice to get its attention. He also mentions early on in the video that it sometimes takes 1 or 2 shots after the launch. Which is when you either shoot them once to get thier attention, or not at all. Hope this makes helps.
Clik it can i just need to manually select it and it will buffer like alot and now its just auto 1080 cuz youtube picks the p where you can watch the video without buffering
Maybe make the cow pen twice as tall and use a seat to get on top of it instead of stairs. You know, just an idea. As for the boss, it might be a difference in speed. I mean, the rotating wheels-pole has a certain mass, and rotates with a certain inertia. Increasing the mass could fling it higher because of more weight, or it could fling it lower because the engine can't rotate the wheels-pole as fast due to the increased weight.
Scrapman- put down bearings and re-attach the missing pieces on the bridge and it will not connect while still just looking as awesome as always! i know that there are probably thousands of other people that are saying the exact same thing, but i still hope that this helps. -commenter fan
I remember hearing Milton say that he had to get them to launch at the right angle. He had his up a couple degrees or something like that. Yours look like they are launching more level and less upwards.
For organising the cheats - try to paint them. Circlets and components kits in green cheats; explosive goo, bee wax, flowers in yellow... Etc. And different shades of gray for the different tier materials. It also look great.
Great video as always. Just a thought on the segmented base issue... It's not ideal, but you could replace the gaps with large pipe sections (two 90's and straights as needed) attached to one side. They will physically fill in the gaps but the segmented base sections will still functionally remain separated. It may not be the most aesthetic, but it's the best I can think of sans wedges.
If you want to organize your chest, you can try having only 1 object in each slot of the chest inventory that you would want. Like having 1 block of wood in the chests where yoy want wood and fill them all up so that the objects will go to the only open inventory slot
Suggestion: Try raising your launcher up. It looks like the boss is launched on a tangent to where they first contact the wheel, so you are getting a rearward component of the launch, meaning the boss is contacting a little bit above the front of the wheel. Keep raising it until they go as close to straight up as possible.
This is a re-post of my last comment from kAN's video: for one episode, go on kAN's world and do his chores and he goes on your world and does stuff, scrap mechanic world swap!
I'd also like to see a competitive MSMS, using the mechanic station as a de-militarized area for trading, would be fun to see what inventions are made for delivering bots to each others' bases, or raiding each others' farms, sabotaging vehicles etc. They need to put friendly-fire in the game for this to work well though.
@@jollybodger , I believe that I just found the next Einstein and it's you. Although, to be honest, I don't think it will last much more than a couple of videos.
If you don't like the fact that your base has lines through it, you can probably fix that. As an example for the tunnel, you can place two bearings on the side of the bottom blocks, connect them with a strip of carpet, and then just build normally with that as a base.. Because there are two bearings it can't spin, and it will only technically be connected to one side, while keeping the visual appeal.
I think the log pen was a good idea, seemed to work fine for keeping the cows inside. Its just that chatbots can one shot the logs, so they needed a layer of blocks to keep them out.
The lag was most likely caused by the watering system on the farm or the bouncer or the bridges and not the rest of the base. By separating the base you reduced the number of blocks affected by that system by a lot which gave you that improvement.
I think Mediocre Milton nowadays has been a very popular TH-camr of Grounded. I know him before I see this video and never expected him once doing videos about scrap mechanic.
For sorting you could just put one part or block in each slot in the chest, so nothing but that specific piece can flow into it. Once one chest gets full just make an overflow chest. :)
The reason why it wasn’t working on the smaller bots I believe was because they weren’t actually fully touching it because of them avoiding the drills on the wheels
The spinning wheels trigger the farmbots’ “defensive” response, where they walk backwards, it’s the same thing they do for drills and saws. It’s a slight bug while they’re backtracking, but they can’t get hit properly, as coming too close just boosts them further backwards. The wheels work well on cows and boss-bots because they don’t have this behaviour... hypothetically, if you had a plough on your vehicle which triggered farmbots’ defensive responses, you could make them move backwards at bullet speed, so long as your vehicle could push them that fast.
Hey scapman, if you put the blocks back on your base, they will remain two separated buildings, and no collision will be calculated, as they are two fixed things, so no lag and beauty together
i think that part of the lag is coming from all the vehicles on the wooded horseshoe. my thought is that the blocks you place count as individual entities, when they are connected they count as one entity, when separated it is two. when multiple entities collide, the game logic can freak out and cause lag and/or glitches with physics....if you still want a garage you can probably build one in the grass, maybe fancy it up too.
IDEA: make a giant hank with buttons that activate when smol hank breaks blocks. Ie: arm with crusher that drops or throws his pitchfork (with spuds or suspension)
21:51 it happened to me a couple of times. It seems that player and vehicle location are auto updated with different rates or maybe the game doesn’t update the car before exiting. If that happens again, just follow the route you drove from, the car will most likely be there.
A major contributor to frame rate drop are vacuum pumps. From my testing (depending on your pc setup) once you get around 8 in render range you get dips. It doesn’t matter if they are powered or not. It gets even worse as you go higher and they are powered.
You'll take a slight performance hit but you can put fillers in using bearing connected to one side. If you have a for example 1 x 7 gap, put bearings on blocks 1 and 7 on the back chunk and then put a piece through it. They won't connect as one entity.
Idea: make 1 line of boss keys in front of the main castle bit, (minus the bridges) and have it tall enough so the bosses, hay bot, and green bots don't pass. So when a raids happening you can ez snipe them with no worry. Sence you have this farm bot killing car(?) it would be easy to get the keys necessary!
I can't remember which creator I saw this, but a Boss-level farm raid had a boss bot attacking their base from under the water. So not a barrier. You need to figure out how to launch vertical versus at a 45 degree angle. Maybe a "bumper bar" above the tires even or just slightly back from the front edge of the tires?
instead of filling the gaps with wedge pieces, you can fill with the same bocks that you removed. just attach them to bearings, so they belong to only one creation that the bearing are attached to.
I remember this from couple of years ago when you just started your TH-cam channel then a huge youtuber at that time shouted you out and u gained 5k from him then on your on got to the top
17:49 Boss Bot: *floats* What I imagine it saying: "You dare challenge me! I have mastered the Force puny mortal! I will dest..." *dies* Me: *bursts out laughing*
A way to make an automatic sorting system is to fill each slot in every chest with items you want in that chest, making sure that not all of them are full stacks.
First of all thanks so much for the shoutout!

So when a raids happening you can ez snipe them with no worry. Sence you have this farm bot killing car(?) it would be easy to get the keys necessary!
17:48 deja vu! I just been in this place before!
Darnit Hank! This is why we cant have nice things!
Next episode scrapman creates a cow pen using warehouse keys "indestructible cow pen"
That second boss hit him with the trick shot 🤣
I can't remember which creator I saw this, but a Boss-level farm raid had a boss bot attacking their base from under the water. So not a barrier. You need to figure out how to launch vertical versus at a 45 degree angle. Maybe a "bumper bar" above the tires even or just slightly back from the front edge of the tires?
"Scrap Mann 1 second ago is sad"
"the next second is in a happy mood"
me:internal confusion
Me early in the vid: F FOR HANK!!!
Me when Hank was in his cage: Wait, ScrapMan, you didn’t kill Hank...?
instead of filling the gaps with wedge pieces, you can fill with the same bocks that you removed. just attach them to bearings, so they belong to only one creation that the bearing are attached to.
I have already subscribed to Mediocre Milton!

Me: *bursts out laughing*
jesus ScrapMan, you just made this Milton guy's career by mentioning him xD
you should put a bearing on a controller on the space between the bridge thing and the craft room. then you could just keep them seperate I thing
Guys let's give scrap man a million subscriber
A way to make an automatic sorting system is to fill each slot in every chest with items you want in that chest, making sure that not all of them are full stacks.
Doctor: T-Posing Farmbot isn't real, he can't hurt you.
