This is the 66th Akabane Baka Festival
It is the biggest event in Kita Ward, Tokyo, and is held every spring in Akabane.
It is said to have started in 1956 when local shopkeepers held it in honor of April Fool's Day.
In recent years, it has attracted hundreds of thousands of people over two days each year, including participants and spectators.
It will be held at venues around Akabane Station with live music and dance performances.
