  • Our advanced theory lesson on the camp called juggernaut. The only camp in the game that can move out of the camp position and into your people area. How it interacts with people can be tricky.
    For more info on how people work check out my playing people video:

    P.s. I know Molgur Stang costs more than one water to play. Enjoy the game play tip.

    Ok, by my reading of things, Vera Vosh and Juggernaut are crazy together. Get a fully protected Jug. Move it up to the middle, then next turn use it twice so it's never unprotected. If you can get that set up it'll be an almost surefire shot at at least one camp.

      Agreed! This is a combo I've never really thought about before (or have played against). I'd be targeting Vera with everything I got if that combo popped up on my opponents field.
      You could play a person, then vera, then juggernaut in the column and she would almost always be protected as well when juggs is in the middle.
      Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated 😊

    Hello!! I have a question (sorry if it is yet answered).
    What happens if juggernaut is destroyed in the second row (or third), does it return to the bottom row or stays where it was destroyed?? And if so, does this destroyed juggernaut protect people behind it?
    Thank you very much in advance!!

    • @universityofradlands
      @universityofradlands  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Juggernaut would go back to the camp row and anybody behind would move up. Juggernaut's ability is what allows it to move beyond the camp space. When it's destroyed that is gone so back to the camp row it goes.
      Thanks for watching and for the question. I really appreciate it ☺️

    I guess it’s very difficult to play because the camp is very exposed in the front line, but I’ll give it a try.
    What would be your strategy guys ?

    • @universityofradlands

      This camp definitely has a unique play style. A very high risk but high reward camp. I think it pairs well with restore camps so you can keep it undamaged. It's also only exposed for one turn (ideally) in the front row. So don't advance it to the front row if you know your opponent can destroy it the next turn. Playing powerful people behind it is a good strategy at times. It's worth trying a few times for sure. It's one of my favorites because of the way it changes how a player uses camps in the game.
      Thanks for commenting and hope this helped a bit or at least pushes you over the edge to play it a few times.

      @@universityofradlands thanks for the answer, it’s indeed a good combo , I didn’t think about it yet cause I’ve only played with the first camps they recommend.
      I’ll try that tonight if I’m lucky with the draw 😇
      Thanks a lot, I’ll play this game a lot 👌🏽

    So it seem like you can advance juggernaut even if no person is in the row?

    • @universityofradlands
      @universityofradlands  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, as long as you have the one water to spend to move juggernaut forward you can. The blurb about people on the card is just to tell you what to do with them if they are in the column, not that they have to be there.

    Can the juggernaut continue its movement even if it was damaged?

    • @universityofradlands
      @universityofradlands  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Camps are always able to use their abilities/traits when damaged or undamaged as long as you can pay for it.

  • @notAsheep87

    Can I just use 3 water and kill enemy camps in one turn?

    • @universityofradlands
      @universityofradlands  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the question! Unfortunately no. A card's ability can be used once per turn. Once it has been used that card is not ready anymore and can't be used again. The only exception to this rule is Vera Vosh's trait. If she is undamaged then you are able to use juggernauts ability twice in one turn and advance it two spaces instead of one at a time each turn.
      Thanks for watching and commenting and I hope this helped to clear it up. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask ☺️

    if the juggernant takes the wound to the opponent's camp after the 3rd step and then returns to the position of the starting camp, is the juggernant still alive or already dead?

    • @universityofradlands
      @universityofradlands  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Advancing the juggernaut from start to finish will not damage or destroy it. So it would go back to the camp row in the same position it was in when it left the last spot. If it wasn't damaged then it goes back undamaged. If it had been hit and is turned to the side then it goes back that way.
      Even though the juggernaut can move the opponent still has to target it like a normal camp. It's just an easier target for them when people are behind it and it's more exposed.
      Hope this cleared it up. Appreciate you watching ☺️

      @@universityofradlands thanks for the answer, which do you think are the 3 best camps?

    • @universityofradlands
      @universityofradlands  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a tough one. I'll look at this as if I just had to pick three individually without considering what other camps provide for synergy. These are camps I'll almost always pick if I see them without looking at the others.
      My top is probably catapult. Having a sniper whenever you want it is great. It's also a way to clear your board so it doesn't get clogged.
      I like supply depot a lot. Two cards to start and if you need to draw you can at least look at two options instead of one.
      Labor camp might be the best restore camp. Free action and a way to keep your board clear. Win win.
      Notable contenders would be outpost since it gives you options. Adrenaline lab is a great camp. Keeps your board clear and also forces your opponents to completely kill your people instead of just injuring it. they don't want you to use them. Mercenary camp can be devastating early. Juggernaut is also probably the most unique camp in the game and most fun when it resolves.
      Do you have a top bunch you always consider when they are in your six choices?

    • @danielbinder3136
      @danielbinder3136 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@universityofradlands yes, there should always be a camp where I can set up the car as an event, then even the revival is important, for the third camp it is questionable whether I should prefer the shot. Is it possible that the car event is the strongest in the game.

    • @universityofradlands
      @universityofradlands  ปีที่แล้ว

      Garage is also a very powerful camp for sure. One water to play or advance raiders is really good. Pair it with some camps that start with more cards and you should have a good chance in the game.

  • @leonzuendel123
    @leonzuendel123 ปีที่แล้ว

    Actually the (current) rules do say, that the first person you play always goes directly in front of a camp AND if one person of two gets destroyed (so you're left with only one in front) it automatically goes back to the row in front of the camp. This makes total sense because it makes literally NO common sense to play a person in the first row with a gap between itself and the camp..... Like why would you do that? It does nothing. So Juggernaut is not even nearly as complicated as you are explaining it.

    • @universityofradlands

      Thanks for watching and commenting. Appreciate it. With living rules things can update and change (my restore video isn't as accurate now as well with the most recent rules update). I'm glad the game rules make more sense now but hopefully some people will still find the video helpful if it's still confusing. Happy raiding! 🤘
