Aww, this is awesome! Thank you for including both my kitty and my quote in your video. So proud to be a part of this effort to save our democracy. Well done, postcarders!
Every postcard I wrote made me feel I was actually talking to the person or family I was writing to...with my most enthusiastic and encouraging voice I could muster! A really great experience!
I am so proud of my contribution of postcards to Nevada (and we went Blue in NV!!!) It was very rewarding and I felt that I actually had some power in the decision making of the vote. Thank you for the opportunity. I will definitely do this again if necessary.
I live this, makes me feel a part of something big. I did cards for Wisconsin and Georgia and my daughter did stamps. Shout out to Moms Demand Action ! From Michigan where We Voted Blue - So Can You
Spent my 65th birthday in October writing out 200 post cards by myself to North Carolina. It was my present to my country. Felt a connection to each person I sent a post card to and even wrote thank you at the very end. If someone thanks you that means you probably needed to do something and that something was VOTE! Good job, America and fellow writers, there is indeed hope.
I received so much more than I gave to send postcards! It was a cathartic process for me and my concerns. A physical process I could do when I felt so helpless. Thanks for the opportunity!
Due to health issues, I couldn't volunteer, but writing postcards to North Carolina was a way for me to give back to our Country and preserve Democracy!
I am so proud of all these people coming together as we NEED to STAND together for DEMOCRACY!!! GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!! I only was able to do 200 postcards to Georgia, But I will do 1000 for 2024 with the help of my family, as they want to help and we are able to do more TOGETHER.
It was so rewarding to write these post cards to voters! At first I said I could write 100. Then after that I said I could write 100 more! Next time I'm going to write at least 500 for my countries democracy! It's important!
I wrote 200 postcards to voters in Georgia! I told my kids I'm becoming an activist at 66! It made me feel like I was doing something to contribute not just money but time! Also, my husband of almost 50 years said he was proud of me!
I live the slide show. I think I had the best picture (didn't send , but posted it all over fb.) It was my 6 y o grandson adding his sentence to the bottom of each NV postcard: "Your vote matters!"
I Just want folks to know that people of color also wrote cards. I see no representation in the testimonials. So, be sure my crew spent an engaging afternoon lovingly writing to Nevada. Didn't know about the picture taking process.\
I too noticed the sparse representation of people of color in the photos, and I'm glad to hear you say you think that doesn't accurately represent all who did the work. I did notice that women, especially older women, were very well represented. I wonder if that had anything to do with the abortion issue, or something else.
I was having trouble completing the few hundred postcards I signed up to write due to some hand stuff. I asked my 86 yr old Dad to help. He jumped right in without hesitation because that is who he is. I’m going to forward him this video. Thank you for putting it together. I am emotional watching it.🥲

I loved having the opportunity to contribute by writing postcards. It reminded me that there is always a way to be involved in making a difference.

I found writing 200 cards to Pennsylvania voters to be the most rewarding part of this year's campaign effort.
