Top to Bottom, Pistes Challe Blue, Boveniéres Blue/Red and Charmasson Blue La Norma/Valfrejus Ski

This TVB starts from the highest point of the D'Arrondaz Plateau around 2260 meters. The Challe is an easy level 2 for beginners. The Boveniéres got a top blue part of level 2 and a red lower part wich isn't to hard either level 3 stuff. The Charmasson is a nice valley run of level 3. Overall this downhill can be done by any beginners who isn't a first timer. If you are, skip the red Boveniéres and Charmasson.

Jazeker dit zeer goedkope oord met totaal 5 skigebieden is zeer rustig zeker buiten de Franse vakanties. Ik denk dat ik nog eens terug ga en Superdeveloy erachter plak voor 2 weken skien. Totale prijs is goedkoper dan 1 week in top gebied.

@@longtreecityltc9325 Valfréjus hoort bij de meer sneeuwzekere gebieden van Frankrijk. Valfréjus pakt namelijk sneeuw mee als de beruchte retour d’est (sneeuw uit Italië) langskomt, en door de stuwing pakt Valfréjus ook sneeuw mee als deze uit het noordwesten komt. Dit heb ik van wintersport.nl ik was zelf daar ruim half maart dan is het altijd maar afwachten, laatste dag begon het weer heavy te sneeuwen.

I've seen blue runs in other French resorts that were steeper then that red one. It's ridiculous that run gradient colours vary in different countries that are supposed to a 'union' let alone different resorts in the same country. There should be a European wide standard run colour on the runs correct gradient register across the board, that way inexperienced skiers won't find them on a steep run that was coloured a lower colour at another resort.

Hi, the Boveniéres the lac and crete use to be all blues. The Boveniéres and Lac are still blue in my opinion and the Crete is an easy red. In France they also have green pistes so all other colors are automatically a little bit tougher. The color is determined by steepness, length of steepness, overall length, wideness of piste and danger with a cliff. Therefore some reds are pretty easy but they have a cliff next to it.
