You can tell Martin and Dave are humoring Mark Goodman. Mark comes off in an uneducated, stilted way that really doesn't sit well with them, especially Martin. Dave is incredibly savvy at this young age to deal with ignorant VJs. LOL. Goodman should've really done his research before interviewing them HOWEVER that's easy to say NOW because BACK THEN in the 80s there was NO INTERNET to instantly find out everything you need to know about an artist/band. That being said, at 1.48, Dave looks over at Martin and realizes that he's completely disconnected from the interview and Goodman. So sad.
Has anyone else noticed how much of a jerk this interviewer is? I mean, goodness. Mart's tic came right out there at 0:00. This is a little painful but what makes me happy is that they've been around for 40 years.
Totally agree!! He’s so condescending! They’re probably like “Mark who?”! So glad they became and stayed a huge success for decades not only in America but all over the world. I didn’t remember Mark Goodman being such a total jerk.
