Solo? That’s my thing! I’ve done HHN solo for YEARS! I refuse to miss out just because I don’t have anyone to go with. Same for Mardi Gras. I make a weekend out of it and it’s always a good time. Looking forward to going in March.

I was on the Elements Float last night (the first new float)! It was a ton of fun and I remember seeing you on route! I will say, when the extended the viewing into the street it felt like people were so close. It was like I could essentially pass guests BEADS from the float.
I love Mardi Gras! Sadly i couldn't sign up for parade float riding for AP's they were all gone 😭

If you mean Puerto Rico, last year it had a booth and Cuba too. But they dropped Cuba this year.

Beads! You did great and my husband and I were on one of the floats and you captured us perfectly, so thank you!! We saw you when we were on the parade float and got excited. The Columbia burger for the win. Also try their dessert it was nice and refreshing for us. Had a great time, this is our 3rd year coming on the first day of Mardi Gras and we actually met you last year in the Puerto Rico booth.

It will be great to see what foods you choose and how filling they are. If you take all season to eat your way around even better. I think by not eating a lot at a time, it will make a difference to how you rate things. My theory is that as foodies eat more and get fuller, they don't enjoy the food as much.

BEADS! MY dad is from Brazil but his family didn't really bringbmany of the traditional meals along with them. They were a meats and potatoes crew. My grandpa would tell me about the restaurants serving meat on a sword. We once went to a Brazilian style restaurant here that did that. But they did make beans and rice all the time. It was my inlaws from South America that introduced me to more of the dishes.
That sounds delicious! I want to go to a Brazilian steak house one day!
