Virginia State Route 278 and King Street - Entire Length; Hampton, VA

This is a drive on Virginia State Route 278 and King Street in the City of Hampton. Coverage for this drive is the entire length of the route between the Langley Air Force Base entrance and downtown Hampton. VA 278 only exists on the portion of King Street between the Langley Air Force Base and Mercury Boulevard (US 258). South of the interchange with Mercury Boulevard, King Street continues to a dead end in Downtown Hampton. Prior to reaching the dead end, this drive turns onto Rudd Lane and Bridge Street and ends back at Settler’s Landing Road (US 60 and VA 143). From Mercury Boulevard (US 258), King Street provides access to Downtown Hampton while VA 278 provides access to the Langley Air Force Base.
