McFarlane is the best bang for the buck imo. Much happier paying $22 for for a bigger, better ariculated figure over $25 for a smaller, poorly articulated figure.
Mcfarlane is far from articulate, sure the joints exist but they just feel like a check on a checklist, you really can't pose jack with mcfarlane figures
@@mythicpeyote I didn't say more, I said better. Visually Marvel Legends articulation looks bad, those thigh cuts and that waist cut is horrible. The ab crunch looks bad too.
At the wrists and for the majority the waists and head.... Legends still using single swivel wrists, neck ring and cut waist with no side to side articulation.. limiting their articulation....not all but many .. Wrist yes 100% though .. No echo chamber...I definitely seen articulation from all companies.. 💀
People are so toxic because a lot of them think they have to like one thing or another and cant like both. So they pick their favorite thing and trash the other no matter how good it is.
4,000 Subs Congrats Bones!!! The channel is moving up. Your reviews are always on point, with a clean delivery in what you like and don't. Without dirt or pity great work. The Mcfarlane haters will never stop. Is almost like if they were afraid of their girlfriend's finding out that 7 inches is better than 6.
And for people don't believe that that marvel 7-inch line is coming go look at how many lines McFarland does for Disney there's no reason why Disney as much as they like to bundle everything together we just got to write one check to him for the new stuff
When mcfartlane started i didn't think he'd pull it off. I bought a couple of the fart nite figs and thought they were pretty well done. But he's pulled it off in spades. Easily the best dc line of all time. ❤😂😂
I've been on the Mcfarlane line since 2020. I don't collect everything he puts out, but I do enjoy most of the line and can say that there has been a lot of improvement over the years. I hope he is able to continue this for more years to come.
Very good video alot of good information for collectors in general here. As we know Mcfarlane started as an Artist for Marvel and that spiderman statue holds alot of meaning because it was off his own Spiderman comic book Cover
Perhaps McFarlane doing Marvel and Star Wars, it may force HASBRO to step up there game even more. I mean he is doing cloth wired capes, something Marvel Legends should’ve been doing by now.
I very much welcome some Mcfarlane based 7" Marvel figures, even would like to see his take on some 7" Star Wars characters. I think Mcfarlane does & always has done a great job
I think McFarlane and Marvel working together is pretty cool. If you dont like the line, thats fine. You dont have to buy it, but clearly theres alot of people that like it (like us) because its been going strong for years now. Sometimes I wonder if the people who are so vocal about their hate for McFarlane ever gave the line a fair shot. But hey, trashing figures gets likes for sure. 😅
"Sometimes I wonder if the people who are so vocal about their hate for McFarlane ever gave the line a fair shot." I doubt it since all they want to do is cry all day about something that they don't care about in the first place.
Your Meltdown videos are so interesting, Bones! Always love hearing what you have to say. Couldn't care less about Marvel. I'm a DC man through and through. Not gonna waste my time commenting on and bashing them though. It's so silly how these worms waste their time doing that...
Exclusivity breeds contempt. If collectors had other alternatives when it comes to fully articulated mass market figures in the 6” to 7” scale from the DC master license, I think you would see a lot more appreciation for what McFarlane brings to the table. That’s not unique to McFarlane, of course. We see it with Hasbro and the Marvel and Star Wars licenses, and we saw it with Mattel and the DC license.
I have heard that hasbro is moving to license deals instead of making the toys so this may be some of what we will see in the future to the brands they do . Or maybe just a one off thing i dont think they will let him make 6in marvel and marvel select has the 7inch skew so i dont think anything much of this i dont buy statues
I don't know why there are a lot of people in this world care about something that they don't even buy in the first place, it's laughable and just cringe on their end. These are toys we're talking about, not life or dèath. You can just avoid buying it and move on with your life. People like them are the reason why I don't usually like talking to other toy collectors nowadays. I collect what I like without people telling me what to collect. With that said, I want to see what direction McFarlane is going by teaming up with Marvel. I would like to see a 7" Batman/Spiderman set or a 7" Batman/Punisher set in the future.
I think some reviewers are just in it for the money and to get things for free. I like McFarlane dc multiverse. I would want thigh cut more added to the already great articulation. I’m not into statues but the they look good with the sculpts, paint and the backgrounds. I like how McFarlane has made figures of characters in figure form for the first time. Say that three times fast! Lol
Midfarlane? He easily has the best figures in the toy department. Sure some collectors only lines (*cough NECA) make more detailed figures. But are they really figures if they aren't really toys? Because at some point they become articulated statues that aren't meant to be messed with much. I'd say McFarlane is easily the industry's leader in actual action figures.
theres a wierd hate for McFarlane that is truly sickening and pathetic. with that being said I noticed it a while back with those "big TH-camrs" and since unsubscribed from all of them. been enjoying "muh Mcfarlane" and various other toys a whole lot more.
@bonesandthenecrozoo it's almost like their being led to think that way. It's sad when people act like everything he releases has to be perfect or it's a bust but that attitude isn't shared against other companies that aren't hasbro.
@jojipoji2322 once upon a time I would call him " fair" but now he seems a Lil senile. Once he started this whole anatomy bs it got significantly worse.
@@astrayblue1 Agreed. The anatomy knit picking is annoying. But what really broke the camel's back for me was his review of the new SH Figuarts GT Goku. Anthony has for years been talking about value for a figure, the price, what you get for the price etc... This SH Figuarts is like half the size of his thumb, and he gives it an 8/10 ... I get the scale, but there's no way in hell anybody can justify charging 80$ for a figure that you can get out of a gumball machine.
Mcfarlane has been making toys for a long time because he loves toys and comics. Hasbro, never drew or wrote their own characters neither have the talentless jealous haters!!!! Its always the guy with no car who is always talking shit about everyone else's car!!!
I'm completely disinterested in the McFarlane DC figures. The line is too much a mix of classic characters with modern versions and I'm only interested in the classic characters, like the DC Universe Classics line. And since McFarlane is making them out of scale with DCUC and I have no expectation of getting all the classic characters, to me it would be a waste of time to buy any of these.
To be honest DC is my all time favorite but as a hold it is the Batman universe a. I have a huge problem with that cause unlike Marvel DC just has focus most of their artistic process with Batman through decades, yes we see a ton of Spider a. Wolverine but at least you see then come to their limits when they clash with other heroes, DCs power levels are not define by character but popularity, you can say that for Marvel also but its not so in your F. face like DC and for me its very unfortunate. I have the same problem, its like a vicious circle I´m stuck with many Batman figures hopping to get a rare character at some point I like them but I have no other choice, DC is my favorite
