Can you have any size of string

You can check for the fitting after you've done 90% of it. Always take longer cords since the size reduces drastically in the end. You dont want to be left with a miniature bracelet.

There are so many videos on how to tie basic knots. Just do a search for friendship bracelets for beginners. These knots are called forward & backward knots or half hitches using macrame terms. Good luck! 😂
