Top Tip or the DIYer......................Before you remove the locking piece on the top of the fuel pump mark it's locked position so you know how far to turn it back when you fit the new one, that way you should not break it, thanks for the Videos too they are great Jimmy...........................384 days over for a service makes me think you will be doing some more work on this vehicle in the future.
Did the same job last week on a VW T5 we couldn’t get it on a lift ad they were all in use so like you did it on my back I’m 63 and I remember just lying there and looking at it I won’t be doing another that way I really am to old 😂😂

Thanks for the video, I’ve got a w907 sprinter that lacks power no fault codes fuel pressure on the low pressure pump is 2.7-3 bars at idle is that within range ?
Just wondering why you didn’t do an amperage draw test on the fuel pump to see if it was that and not a partially blocked fuel filter putting the fuel pump under pressure making it work harder or check the power feed wires for grounding on the body somewhere ,hopefully the new fuel pump fixes it and the fuse doesn’t blow again if it does would you replace the fuel pump again ?

I have a 2008 sprinter and it’s slow starting. Is that the fuel filter and fuel pump needing changed. Also when I drive off there is a werid sound and when I stop it goes off. Any ideas m8 ?
