Its funny how pageantry has exerted considerable effort in being typecasted as a platform for individuality, self-representation and non-conformity yet in this video we learn that a big part of the validation that the aspirants get is still shaped by public opinion and not the other way around. I’ve always believed that a true Queen values the opinion of others but does not let those define who she is and what she’s capable of - that while its good that in this journey of self-discovery, contestants tend to find themselves or strengthen characteristics they already possess, they should not lose sight of what they represent when they decided to join in the first place.
Our friend Gel invited me in group but I declined because I'm satisfied already when Pia won in 2015 and to avoid some toxic fans - if you know what I mean. Then in Robinsons Ermita, I was so broke and literal last day of work in a University. I saw a group of beautiful people and that's the first time to meet you.
