Bruh respect your opinions and diddy is definitely a musical and marketing genius. He isn’t the first and won’t be the last black star or just star in general abuses those close to him (James brown, Marvin Gaye etc).
All that being said, your opinion here is weak af because it was tied to the music. His ex girlfriend who started the run of allegations was signed to him. That producer lil rod just worked on his last album.
People didn’t speak up because he beat millionaires (Steve stoute) with chairs and blew up a superstar (at the time, kid Cudi was a star in the 10s) car & almost killed him. And not to mention shyne, big, Tupac etc and all the other stuff he was involved in.
Mad people been speaking up including his former artists in dainty Kane and his former bodyguard gene deal.
Jimmy Kimmel asked him about gene deal live on television before he was feeling the pressure of public lawsuits
lol this is nasty work!! Dude more mad at diddy selling ciroc than dragging Cassie like a doll

That new Eminem song is a palette destroyer. Middle aged man tripping over an instrumental. The stopping and starting constipated flow is as awkward as ever. If hip hop is supposed to flow smoothly and be buttery that shit is like a clogged drain. Gen Z aren't offended by Eminem, we're annoyed by him. I felt like I was listening to bathroom toilet sounds. You were always right about him.

    • @AS-xv7fp

Online weirdos created a false narrative that ALL gen-z are offended by Eminem and the rest of the older heads just ran along with it bc they get a rise out of clowning young heads for the sake of it. When it reality, most don't care about Eminem nor think about him.

9:57 facts 🤣🤣 im wondering how kendrick new album he supposedly working on is gonna sound because the dyckridin is unreal for this dude. let fans and people in the industry tell it this dude can do no wrong lol. anytime they have GKMC over albums like illmatic, Blueprint, 36 chambers, get rich etc solidifies why he's probably the most overrated rapper in history

The Drake “haters” keep bringing up MBB when she was actually groomed by a white tiktok dude who bragged about it and was never even arrested. They don’t care about these supposed victims.

For me my favourite part of the Kendrick beef was when he was saying Drake has "bad people" in his group. Like wasn't Kodak on your last album? Is he going to drop the Dre cosign after the domestic violence? Doubt it. Absurd morale grandstanding, and that's after he backed away from calling himself the biggest rapper, and that's because Drake listed 4 people who outsold his last album. The coloniser shit was a fair diss I guess.

    • @fno2009

      @Raggamuffin007 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

Even that colonizer diss is wack when you consider Drake’s father and uncle’s musical legacies & ties to Memphis.
Kendrick Lamar won a Pulitzer Prize on an album where he said “I am an Israelite, don’t call me black no more, that word is only a color, it ain’t facts no more.”

In hindsight artists like Missy Elliot, Mase, DMX, Big Pun, MF DOOM, Slum Village, Capone - N - Noreaga & Black Star (Mos Def/Talib Kweli) brought a classic flavor to the table.

I cannot describe my hatred for "spoken word rap" it's the worst thing to ever touch this genre. People think "speaking" is music☠ sorry but I ain't bumping a rapper just talking on a song - there are a few exceptions, but generally the beat has to be extremely good to compensate for spoken word rap and many times it can't.
Spoken word rap is basically to me - a rapper just talking normally on the beat with no sense of flow/rhythm and practically no conviction in their words. This is practically a lot of Kendrick's music, and surprisingly, a lot of Drake's music as well. I hadn't realizied until recently, but songs like "Chicago Freestyle" and the third verse on Family Matters are basically hard to turn up to. For me I look at rap as black and white. You either make music people can turn up to, or you make music that catch people in their motions. If you do neither, the music ends up either mediocre or trash. Kendrick is trying to do both. He made Humble and Not Like Us for the "turn up to" crowd - yet those songs are wack to me because they're over the top and funky. Then he makes songs like SAMIDOT and FEEL for the "catch people in the motions" crowd. But again, these unfortunately put me to sleep rather than make me feel emotional.
I look at both Drake and Kendrick - Drake doesn't make good music hip-hop wise that "hits you in the motions" he has to switch to R&B to make anything half-decent. However, Drake has done a better job overall at making enjoyable bumpable music for clubs compared to Kendrick, although, Drake is now played out. While the first part of Family Matters is one of Drake's best songs imo in terms of flow and punch, it's not like this is anything new for Drake. He's sounded the same for like a decade now, and people are bored of Drake. They'll listen and forget. He'll have a song trend on TikTok for a while, and then people will go back to listening to overrated One Dance, and God's Plan, Passionfruit etc. Kendrick is not played out like Drake is because Kendrick doesn't make music as often so Kendrick is like a breath of fresh air to mainstream hip-hop for casuals. Different voice and different personality to kind of be Drake's antithesis. Of course if Kendrick starts to make music consistently he'd get exposed, but I doubt this will happen.

Speaking of Redman, did you hear about him and Method Man performing at Summer Jam and how dead the crowd was when they came out? Very random thought but I can’t stand this dude Ian who blowing up rn. This is coming from a white dude lol, but stg anytime a white guy blows up and is doing some trendy bullshit it’s a big deal cause the culture thinks it’s funny. That’s why I love Mac Miller so much. Brother was actually caring about what he was putting out. End of the day if you’re white in hip hop, you’re using a black art form to leverage yourself and I understand that, but if you’re at the least TRYING to be for the culture that’s different.
Edit: ians music is also garbage 😂 would be different if he was actually good, his image being corny is just too much for me.

Humiliation culture is big right now. I see even black content creators outside of Hip-Hop reinforcing negative stereotypes about black culture for cheap laughs and going viral - entertainment for the white kids in the suburbs. A lot of rappers nowadays are doing exactly the same for money and clout. Mac Miller was a genuine Hip-Hop fan and student of the culture from what I can tell.
