During the trial, I noticed how when her team was questioning her she had her “fake emotion “ going on… but when Camille questioned her , she was defensive and curt.
Being neutral and getting both sides of the story is the right thing to do. But after all this, trying to keep neutral isn't right. Because at this point, everyone knows that she is the abuser. Trying to defend her in the name of being neutral is just not right. This same "neutral stand" wouldn't have happened if it was the reversed situation. If male is the abuser, there will not be any "two sides of the story". Just plain verdict. It's always as the saying "A woman is innocent until proven guilty and a man is guilty until proven innocent". Knowingly or unknowingly, people have that bias.

She would've been more believable if she had toned down her lies. The thing with the behavioral analysis is that it points out the things that you just innately feel. You know she is lying (I mean beyond the fact that they can prove it right in front of you) but you can't tell exactly what is off with the way she states things. You know something is off but can't nail it down - Spidey nails it down and tells you exactly why you get that feeling. Good stuff.

If she was such an expert she’d know that you actually color correct before foundation and you’d even add concealer to hide the alleged “bruising” even then the actual swelling from a bruise will remain. Color correction is better used for hyper pigmentation and dark circles. Also, she said obviously not that specific one because she was called out for not being able to use that Milani palette that her attorneys swore she used the entirety of their marriage when it came out that color correcting palette came out a year after their divorce. Jaby, you’re giving her too much credit. A person who is going through something traumatic and truly hurtful and emotional than their reaction would be sincere and people can understand someone who is genuine and sincere. Even if they’re emotional they would still be able to answer simple questions and recount a story that they found truly traumatic.
I think it's not him giving her the benefit of the doubt. He absolutely knows she's lying, but he doesn't want to say that in his videos. There's a reason behind my thought - he's expressed genuine emotions at every instance Amber has screwed up, and added his own thoughts to it. However, a lot of people have said Johnny talking slowly is him taking time to think of something to say, him laughing in the court is him being dismissive and condescending towards Amber, him doodling in the court is him not being attentive or not caring much about what the lawyers and the witnesses have to say, but we've never seen Jaby talk about any of that. He's trying to maintain a neutral perspective on it as a TH-cam personality, because of course a lot of people still support Amber, and it's very much possible for TH-camrs to get attacked for sharing their honest opinion, which some people might not agree with.

If the court is allowed to laugh then so is he because some of those claims and testimonies are simply ridiculous.
For me it was when she claimed that all of the alleged brutal attacks against her was covered up by makeup. Multiple broken noses, getting punched in the face until it was entirely black and blue, knee to the back... All blatantly proved to be a lie with picture after picture of her being absolutely fine. She needs to go to prison for this and not just one perjury charge, charge each count as its own separate charge and add them all up. Enough is enough, if she faces no punishment for that then our Justice system is meaningless.
Thing is, whenever Depp *_removed_* himself from a situation, such as when she was recorded calling him a baby and was hollering at him about it, she did not mention him making use of substances and going after her later on; there is no such indication. In that moment, her manipulation is to blame him for being, by her count, childish. It makes no sense, then, that the "monster" is someone who removes himself from the situation. Depp clearly tended to go into dark moods due to the fights and closing himself up, which she could not stand, and that's whom she referred to as "the monster."

For example, at 40:30, his point is that Amber's analogy, while it sucked, is still being overly criticized, because a lot of analogies we make in social conversations also suck anyway. I believe this whole thing was done to give her an advantage for the divorce. Remember she asked her marriage therapist if she files first for divorce alleging abuse if it will give her an advantage. So if she says she has a skin condition but ber bruises fade faster snd she doesn't swell much after being punched... lits of inconsistencies there. Watching Jaby try to project his vision of a "confused woman" who is just trying to get through this trial on Amber Heard so hard, it's now kinda obvious why he has been through so many crazy relationships/dates with so many weird women. This is similar to how Johnny Depp is, and how most men are who fall for the crazy hot female archetype. They don't want to be the bad guy so bad that they go out of their way to defend the bad faith actions of other people. Because in their mind, they aren't seeing the real person, they are seeing the potential perfect person that she can be. That's why they are so happy to play the devil's advocate, and imagine elaborate scenarios, where there are multiple layers to the situation, and it's may not be what it seems like. Even when they know deep down that this is just wishful thinking, because it's hard to accept the fact that someone so beautiful can be so evil. It's a romantic notion, of imagining that there is a redeemable person underneath all that drama. But that doesn't work in this case, because we have seen audio clips, videos, texts, and testimony related to multiple people, not just Depp, who have suffered the wrath of a woman who has proven over and over that she is argumentative, combative, and deceptive in her dealings. She seeks confrontation, gaslights people, and outright lies to get away with it all. At this point, even if Johnny did some shit, I wouldn't even be surprised, because just imagine what it would be like to live with that kind of a person day-in and day-out. Add to that all the drugs he was doing at that time, wouldn't you go crazy too? But the funny thing is, she hasn't been able to prove a single instance where she was actually beaten up by him. An actress, who relies on her face to run her career, wouldn't have any medical records of treating injuries that were as extensive as a potential broken nose and busted lip? Even if we believe she has some miraculous healing mechanism that corrects all that on it's own, with no medical intervention, in just 24 hours, wouldn't she at least need cosmetic corrections to deal with the aftermath? Busted noses and lips leave marks, especially when you're claiming multiple altercations. And I'm not just talking about color correction, I'm talking about topographical damage to the skin. You can recognize a fighter and an abuse victim by the damage their skin takes over time, and how it heals awkwardly to accommodate the wounds they received. This is all bullshit, and an insult to actual victims who went through some real bad things. By continuously playing devil's advocate for Amber Heard, it undermines their struggles, and just reinforces the narrative that ironically, she was trying to push through her op-ed, that rich and famous people are defended against abuse claims, and given benefit of the doubt. Because that's exactly what's happening. Depp is a victim of abuse, with documented proof, and yet, we are still trying to see some obscure kernal of truth in her bullshit, so we can say, oh he wasn't a saint. So what? Does that mean he deserves it? You need to be a paragon of virtue before you get to say I don't want to be hit by my woman and then gaslit as the aggressor? It's all madness, and in the end, it's hard to imagine anything will change even if he does manage to somehow win the case. Because Jaby's actions, however innocuous, are still emblematic of a system that doesn't take men's abuse seriously.
1:14 Onwards (from my experience as a professional makeup artist) ; There are tinted moisturizer but that wouldnt be helpful in covering a bruise because if you want to truly cover one up you'd first need to color correct your skin, if the bruise is blue/purple you'd place a layer of orange/yellow makeup, if its green you'd lay down a layer of red and so on. That is the literal first thing to do, if you do not color correct first then you'll have a noticeable discolored spot no matter how much foundation and concealer you'd put over it. You would also never use a theatre makeup kit to color correct because those come in extremely pigmented colors meant to stand out and be seen from a distance and from my experience comes in cake (thick/oily) makeup and alcohol makeup not exactly the products you'd want to use for sensitive areas of skin. When color correcting a bruise its actually better if the color corrected layer is mixed with white making it slightly more pastel because that helps make a more consistent color across the face. What she holds up is not a bruise kit. The proper term is a color correction palette, no one would ever call that a bruise kit. The fact she says theatre bruise kit at all is highly suspect when considering she had been seen with a friend who was a professional makeup artist.
I know it's been over a year but this video appeared again in suggestions and since I enjoyed watching it when the case was still open I gave it a watch again, And just a thought: Is it just me doing it in a weird order or the way she described her covering bruises is exactly the way to MAKE bruises??? All the language and whole "bruise kit" aside, when I want to cover some colour I use the opposite colour (like green on redness) first, then concealer, then foundation - this way I deal with the colour first and when it's neutralised I make everything more equal. The order she described, using the "neutralising" set as the last is absolutely NOT the way to go - if she covered her bruises as she claims she did, she would have known because she would have seen how disastrous the effects would have been if she did it in the order she described. If she wanted to fake bruises though - that's the order to do it. First foundation and then on top you add bruises' colours to fake them.

Yeah, I think it's good to be objective in general but in this particular case it just becomes increasingly clear that she is lying (over and over) and that there are just way too many flat out contradictions. And I think the reason Spidey is on her case now as you say is because: facts and evidence, And the evidence keeps overwhelmingly conradicting (proving false) what she has said.

Amber's analogy "a pledge is like buying a house" is very telling. HER DONATION IS A PURCHASE! Not a lot of people dissecting this trial have spoken about, besides her ridiculous, unbelievable behavior, her words, her audios, but there is also her VOICE…the timber, the high or low level when she says certain statements or answers certain questions. I have a thing about people’s voices…I survived a Narcissistic, frightening mother, so I’m very sensitive to not only body language, but voices and how they are used.

In that interview she said she "donated", then on the stand she kept emphasising "pledged". If she really thought they were the same thing, why did she make a point to keep specifying "pledged"? surly she would just disagree with Camille and say "I have donated" and then later admit that she thought they were the same. When Amber gives her "tutorial" on how to cover bruises, she should have read a different book (some will get that statement lol) and learned how it's really done. Colour correction goes UNDER foundation and Concealer. Not only this, but the last time I had a black eye, it didn't go away in a few days which, going by her timeline, hers did! And black eyes, at the beginning, are quite swollen, so even if she put up with the physical pain of painting makeup on it (black eyes hurt like a biatch!) even under makeup, you'd still see the "dimpling" from the swelling. To be honest, and this is just a guess here, her "black eyes" (possibly the ones that the makeup artist claimed to have needed to cover) may be real, but not from the hands of JD. The underside of the eye socket can start to "sink" as we age. You can get FILLER (like with lips) the puff that area out to give a more youthful under-eye. That leaves bruises ! She clearly gets botox, and that can leave bruising (which could explain some of the "bruises" in some photos as the bruises are in the areas where the needle goes in!) Lastly (sorry for long comment) in "theatrical makeup" (be it stage or movies) a "bruise kit" is what the makeup artists/special effects etc use to add a bruise to the actors face.. on TOP of their foundation etc.

Honestly, I think it's nice to hear potential "theories" (if you can even call them that) trying to explain Amber's behavior. Because each theory trying to explain it sounds more far-fetched than the last.
Cuz he doesn't know what happened in the relationship, including you and I, except for the couple. No one should be 100 percent cuz we don't know the facts nor the truth of the situation. In my real life experiences when ppl blatantly lie to you when you in your gut feel they’re lying you always start to feel like you’re being crazy because they’re denying it so adamantly, to a non-liar it just feels so impossible to pull off. So we begin to feel guilt & blame ourselves but cuz our guts telling us we’re right-we end up feeling like “Am I the crazy one here like what is going on?!” It really sucks.
Something ppl might miss in the section around 14:58 is that someone who covers up or fixes something like touching up a paint work or hiding a defect, other ppl may not see it, but as the person that did or knew that something was fixed/hidden you would be able to tell exactly where what was. The fact she can't point out where the concealed bruises are on that pic is very telling.
She says “obviously not this exact one” because she knows she’s already been called out online for Elaine saying she carried a concealer that the company exposed hadn’t even been created at the time.

I found myself watching you, loving both your reactions and reflections and the dynamics between two people that obviously completely respect and trust each other, but my focus kept drifting away. What my brain decided to process during this video still surprises me, but I also find it very interesting that the notion needed that much attention: How beautiful is it to have such a wide face, especially that jaw shape! Convention is to find a defined chin blending into a straight jawline to be the female ideal, and I have always wished for my face to have that feature. But I am looking at a female face that completely breaks that norm AND is incredibly endearing, expressive and in many ways so much more interesting to watch because it changes appearance from every angle! Watching this has taught my brain to perceive complexity as superior to predictability as a beauty standard, and that will be very valuable as I age! It's because her lead attorney held up and named a specific brand of color correction kit (from Milani Cosmetics) as the one Heard always kept on her person. And she was arguing that this was why witnesses didn't see any bruising on that specific day in question. But Milani Cosmetics issued a statement saying that that particular kit had not been rolled out at the time of that incident. And both Heard and her attorney were crucified for that on line. OBVIOUSLY... (see what I did there), this got back to Team Heard. So by the time Heard was asked to recount that day, as she was holding up that kit, she said 1:52 "this is not, obviously, the exact one I used to carry." It's OBVIOUSLY not the same one she used to carry on that day in question because that would've been impossible and she knew it. And she knew the world knew it. The only people who wouldn't know it is the jury (if they had followed instructions not to independently pursue the the details of this case). But because she wasn't simply addressing the jury in this televised hearing, she used the word "obviously" correctly.

There is another video on this channel, titled "He saw everything in the court". It's Behaviour Arts convo with a lawyer/youtuber who was there in the court during the trial. It's really an amazing video. You guys shoild react to it. He gives a lot of idea about what is happeniing in the court apart from what we see in the video which is usually faced towards the witnesses and Depp/Amber.
One needs to be careful should that person pursue objectivity when analyzing things. Going overboard with it can lead to forsaking common sense and to a false sense of neutrality. People cannot be 100% truly unbiased creatures, and to try to forsake bias all together can ironically cause a person more difficulty in seeing the obvious. It is better to take a stand somewhere than to play the observer and hold off on all judgments for the sake of being unbiased because it doesn’t truly exist anyways. Playing devil’s advocate too much (which I have done as well quite a lot) is a slippery slope that can lead to sympathizing with people who deserve no sympathy. Edit: I will add I am not condemning objectivity. I am just saying that, depending on the individual, it can be taken overboard. Critical thinking I think is much like a weapon. It is a powerful tool, but used carelessly or in excess can lead to the wielder getting hurt.

During the trial, I noticed how when her team was questioning her she had her “fake emotion “ going on… but when Camille questioned her , she was defensive and curt.
Being neutral and getting both sides of the story is the right thing to do. But after all this, trying to keep neutral isn't right. Because at this point, everyone knows that she is the abuser. Trying to defend her in the name of being neutral is just not right. This same "neutral stand" wouldn't have happened if it was the reversed situation. If male is the abuser, there will not be any "two sides of the story". Just plain verdict. It's always as the saying "A woman is innocent until proven guilty and a man is guilty until proven innocent". Knowingly or unknowingly, people have that bias.

If she was such an expert she’d know that you actually color correct before foundation and you’d even add concealer to hide the alleged “bruising” even then the actual swelling from a bruise will remain. Color correction is better used for hyper pigmentation and dark circles. Also, she said obviously not that specific one because she was called out for not being able to use that Milani palette that her attorneys swore she used the entirety of their marriage when it came out that color correcting palette came out a year after their divorce.
Jaby, you’re giving her too much credit. A person who is going through something traumatic and truly hurtful and emotional than their reaction would be sincere and people can understand someone who is genuine and sincere. Even if they’re emotional they would still be able to answer simple questions and recount a story that they found truly traumatic.
I think it's not him giving her the benefit of the doubt. He absolutely knows she's lying, but he doesn't want to say that in his videos. There's a reason behind my thought - he's expressed genuine emotions at every instance Amber has screwed up, and added his own thoughts to it. However, a lot of people have said Johnny talking slowly is him taking time to think of something to say, him laughing in the court is him being dismissive and condescending towards Amber, him doodling in the court is him not being attentive or not caring much about what the lawyers and the witnesses have to say, but we've never seen Jaby talk about any of that. If the court is allowed to laugh then so is he because some of those claims and testimonies are simply ridiculous.

In that moment, her manipulation is to blame him for being, by her count, childish. It makes no sense, then, that the "monster" is someone who removes himself from the situation. Depp clearly tended to go into dark moods due to the fights and closing himself up, which she could not stand, and that's whom she referred to as "the monster."

Watching Jaby try to project his vision of a "confused woman" who is just trying to get through this trial on Amber Heard so hard, it's now kinda obvious why he has been through so many crazy relationships/dates with so many weird women. This is similar to how Johnny Depp is, and how most men are who fall for the crazy hot female archetype. They don't want to be the bad guy so bad that they go out of their way to defend the bad faith actions of other people.
Because in their mind, they aren't seeing the real person, they are seeing the potential perfect person that she can be. That's why they are so happy to play the devil's advocate, and imagine elaborate scenarios, where there are multiple layers to the situation, and it's may not be what it seems like. Even when they know deep down that this is just wishful thinking, because it's hard to accept the fact that someone so beautiful can be so evil. It's a romantic notion, of imagining that there is a redeemable person underneath all that drama.
But that doesn't work in this case, because we have seen audio clips, videos, texts, and testimony related to multiple people, not just Depp, who have suffered the wrath of a woman who has proven over and over that she is argumentative, combative, and deceptive in her dealings. She seeks confrontation, gaslights people, and outright lies to get away with it all.
At this point, even if Johnny did some shit, I wouldn't even be surprised, because just imagine what it would be like to live with that kind of a person day-in and day-out. Add to that all the drugs he was doing at that time, wouldn't you go crazy too?
But the funny thing is, she hasn't been able to prove a single instance where she was actually beaten up by him. An actress, who relies on her face to run her career, wouldn't have any medical records of treating injuries that were as extensive as a potential broken nose and busted lip? Even if we believe she has some miraculous healing mechanism that corrects all that on it's own, with no medical intervention, in just 24 hours, wouldn't she at least need cosmetic corrections to deal with the aftermath? Busted noses and lips leave marks, especially when you're claiming multiple altercations. And I'm not just talking about color correction, I'm talking about topographical damage to the skin. You can recognize a fighter and an abuse victim by the damage their skin takes over time, and how it heals awkwardly to accommodate the wounds they received.
This is all bullshit, and an insult to actual victims who went through some real bad things. By continuously playing devil's advocate for Amber Heard, it undermines their struggles, and just reinforces the narrative that ironically, she was trying to push through her op-ed, that rich and famous people are defended against abuse claims, and given benefit of the doubt. Because that's exactly what's happening. Depp is a victim of abuse, with documented proof, and yet, we are still trying to see some obscure kernal of truth in her bullshit, so we can say, oh he wasn't a saint. So what? Does that mean he deserves it? You need to be a paragon of virtue before you get to say I don't want to be hit by my woman and then gaslit as the aggressor? It's all madness, and in the end, it's hard to imagine anything will change even if he does manage to somehow win the case. Because Jaby's actions, however innocuous, are still emblematic of a system that doesn't take men's abuse seriously.

1:14 Onwards (from my experience as a professional makeup artist) ; There are tinted moisturizer but that wouldnt be helpful in covering a bruise because if you want to truly cover one up you'd first need to color correct your skin, if the bruise is blue/purple you'd place a layer of orange/yellow makeup, if its green you'd lay down a layer of red and so on. That is the literal first thing to do, if you do not color correct first then you'll have a noticeable discolored spot no matter how much foundation and concealer you'd put over it. You would also never use a theatre makeup kit to color correct because those come in extremely pigmented colors meant to stand out and be seen from a distance and from my experience comes in cake (thick/oily) makeup and alcohol makeup not exactly the products you'd want to use for sensitive areas of skin. When color correcting a bruise its actually better if the color corrected layer is mixed with white making it slightly more pastel because that helps make a more consistent color across the face. What she holds up is not a bruise kit. The proper term is a color correction palette, no one would ever call that a bruise kit. The fact she says theatre bruise kit at all is highly suspect when considering she had been seen with a friend who was a professional makeup artist.

All the language and whole "bruise kit" aside, when I want to cover some colour I use the opposite colour (like green on redness) first, then concealer, then foundation - this way I deal with the colour first and when it's neutralised I make everything more equal.
The order she described, using the "neutralising" set as the last is absolutely NOT the way to go - if she covered her bruises as she claims she did, she would have known because she would have seen how disastrous the effects would have been if she did it in the order she described.
If she wanted to fake bruises though - that's the order to do it. First foundation and then on top you add bruises' colours to fake them.

When Amber gives her "tutorial" on how to cover bruises, she should have read a different book (some will get that statement lol) and learned how it's really done. Colour correction goes UNDER foundation and Concealer. Not only this, but the last time I had a black eye, it didn't go away in a few days which, going by her timeline, hers did! And black eyes, at the beginning, are quite swollen, so even if she put up with the physical pain of painting makeup on it (black eyes hurt like a biatch!) even under makeup, you'd still see the "dimpling" from the swelling. To be honest, and this is just a guess here, her "black eyes" (possibly the ones that the makeup artist claimed to have needed to cover) may be real, but not from the hands of JD. The underside of the eye socket can start to "sink" as we age. You can get FILLER (like with lips) the puff that area out to give a more youthful under-eye. That leaves bruises ! She clearly gets botox, and that can leave bruising (which could explain some of the "bruises" in some photos as the bruises are in the areas where the needle goes in!) Lastly (sorry for long comment) in "theatrical makeup" (be it stage or movies) a "bruise kit" is what the makeup artists/special effects etc use to add a bruise to the actors face.. on TOP of their foundation etc.

You can only give so much benefit of a doubt to someone. In her case, I think we can all agree that she's a liar and can even lie under oath. No more doubts. Not going to believe anything she says.

I found myself watching you, loving both your reactions and reflections and the dynamics between two people that obviously completely respect and trust each other, but my focus kept drifting away.
What my brain decided to process during this video still surprises me, but I also find it very interesting that the notion needed that much attention:
How beautiful is it to have such a wide face, especially that jaw shape! Convention is to find a defined chin blending into a straight jawline to be the female ideal, and I have always wished for my face to have that feature. But I am looking at a female face that completely breaks that norm AND is incredibly endearing, expressive and in many ways so much more interesting to watch because it changes appearance from every angle!
Watching this has taught my brain to perceive complexity as superior to predictability as a beauty standard, and that will be very valuable as I age!

@@pinkpaperheart Don't add that last part. He is just trying to be safe and not deal with hate from the other side, he has said he is more on Johnny's side but wants to stay neutral until the end. He has hinted at being in abusive relationships before and finally got out of them so that last part you said is kinda fucked up.
@@johnrossi6189 There is a fine line between being respectful and being disingenuous. If he has been in toxic relationships before, then denying evidence in court is no different from disregarding abuse perpetrated - regardless of gender.

7:40 There's another MAJOR reason why she used "obviously" in the second instance. It's because her lead attorney held up and named a specific brand of color correction kit (from Milani Cosmetics) as the one Heard always kept on her person. And she was arguing that this was why witnesses didn't see any bruising on that specific day in question. But Milani Cosmetics issued a statement saying that that particular kit had not been rolled out at the time of that incident. And both Heard and her attorney were crucified for that on line.
OBVIOUSLY... (see what I did there), this got back to Team Heard. So by the time Heard was asked to recount that day, as she was holding up that kit, she said 1:52 "this is not, obviously, the exact one I used to carry." It's OBVIOUSLY not the same one she used to carry on that day in question because that would've been impossible and she knew it. And she knew the world knew it. The only people who wouldn't know it is the jury (if they had followed instructions not to independently pursue the the details of this case). But because she wasn't simply addressing the jury in this televised hearing, she used the word "obviously" correctly.
43:40 - Exactly what I noticed. In the audio recordings she complains that he always leaves the fight, clearly angered by it and even belittles him for it. How does a person who leaves during every fight, as she clearly states herself, also someone who has been physically attacking and abusing her for years? It's not possible so clearly she's not being truthful in her testimony.

The funniest thing to think about with Amber considering 'pledge' and 'donate' synonymously is thinking about the Pledge of Allegience of the United States. The opening line, "I pledge allegiance to the flag . . ." But if we switch it: "I donate allegiance to the flag . . ." MAKES TOTAL SENSE! 😂😂

There is another video on this channel, titled "He saw everything in the court". It's Behaviour Arts convo with a lawyer/youtuber who was there in the court during the trial. It's really an amazing video. You guys shoild react to it. He gives a lot of idea about what is happeniing in the court apart from what we see in the video which is usually faced towards the witnesses and Depp/Amber.
One needs to be careful should that person pursue objectivity when analyzing things. Going overboard with it can lead to forsaking common sense and to a false sense of neutrality. People cannot be 100% truly unbiased creatures, and to try to forsake bias all together can ironically cause a person more difficulty in seeing the obvious. It is better to take a stand somewhere than to play the observer and hold off on all judgments for the sake of being unbiased because it doesn’t truly exist anyways. Playing devil’s advocate too much (which I have done as well quite a lot) is a slippery slope that can lead to sympathizing with people who deserve no sympathy.
Edit: I will add I am not condemning objectivity. I am just saying that, depending on the individual, it can be taken overboard. Critical thinking I think is much like a weapon. It is a powerful tool, but used carelessly or in excess can lead to the wielder getting hurt.

A small laugh at Amber is useful as a provocation - if they can subtly bait Amber to change her facade or finally show anger and contempt or get under her skin, she is less effective at portraying ‘oh ooor me I’m just so innocent and harmless’. Contempt when you have your arguable allegation questioned is a BAD look
