What a solid turns through the steep part, just amazing. If you compare it with hirscher for example it is so calm and balanced. And that for a woman💪💪👏👏. The benchmark is set for the olympics and theres a lot work for the other girls
Yup, it's not going to be a one-woman show anymore. As far as the Overall Globe though, Petra has other goals this season. I can't wait to see Liensberger race, that woman has gotten scary fast. Mikaela is a different skier this season, though, so it's going to be exciting. I'm bummed that we have to wait until November 20th before we see them race slalom.
She's always done the proper off snow training. In fact there are other ski racers, men included, who have said in the past that she works harder than they do. Just because Aleks has monster thighs, doesn't mean that she's suddenly working harder because of that. His quads are kinda freakish, aren't they?
@@igoski1582 Don't even say the "I" word. Actually Mikaela is very conscious of the danger of injury. She's admitted she definitely fears it, and she'd rather not win than be injured. Luckily she doesn't need to put her life on the line to win.
I'm willing to wager she retires after this year. Unless there is a lot of money left on the table, I think she is ready to move on. I base this "opinion" on subtle things she has said in past interviews.
@@a.m.c.461 IMO, Mikaela retiring after this year would be unthinkable. She would be right on the edge of becoming the GOAT of both the men and the women snow skiers of all the world......ever! And then even continue to push the winning past the point that she may never be surpassed. She would be called "Mikaela the Great! Quite a name to throw away when all you have to do is grab it. I would be extremely surprised if she through all that way, right at the point she can claim it.

I can't wait for her to unseat Lindsey Vonn in the number of World Cup wins! If she stays healthy, it should be soon God willing!
