I have always been let down by the singing every time I saw The Phantom Of The Opera at the theatre after Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman. So I was so happy they finally found someone who could sing to play the part of the Phantom in the POTO. Then when I heard that Ramin was also playing the Phantom in Love Never Dies I knew I just had to see the show. And boy, was I not let down at all. Amazing performances!!!!!
@JackInTheBox1616 Well, he was born in Iran, and his parents are Iranian. He probably has a bit of an accent from them, but he grew up in Canada, and also he's been living in London for several years.... so I think the combo of all three has changed his accent into an odd, sexy voice :D
I like how he describes about how to get into a character because that's a huge part of acting, if not the only part. And getting into that is marvelous! And a character distribution... I love that he said that! I always wondered how they got in the mindset. Now I know! :D sweet! Thank you! And the comments below, I am American I can't really sense he has an accent. He just sounds normal to me. Accent wise! Not voice, voice is incredible! So much talent! What a voice!
i LOVED love never dies the first time i saw it last summer, but i saw it again this month and i hated all of the changes they made! what's with all this oscar hammerstein business?! and the ending, it was so much better before!
@RosesNightengales yeah he does have a slight accentuation on certain sounds :) but its defo a canadian accent :) he may speak another languadge he was born in Iran so who knows maybe thats the cause of the slight accent :D
Remember kids, murder is a no-no.
"murder is probably a no-no."
but only just probably.
Ramin is already perfect, he doesn't need to push himself. Seeing him sing is absolutly breath-taking
His Canadian accent is so cute!

This was great :D is there going to be another chance to ask some questions??
@RosesNightengales Yea he does :P its weird though because hes Canadian :S but it kind of sounds a bit Irish?
no they changed the disfigurement for LND. Its darker i think and in opinion little less dramatic then the POTO.
@RosesNightengales yeah he does have a slight accentuation on certain sounds :) but its defo a canadian accent :) he may speak another languadge he was born in Iran so who knows maybe thats the cause of the slight accent :D
Cool!
@RosesNightengales He is an iranian-canadian, what would you think? xD

@RosesNightengales He's Canadian
where abouts do they do these interviews?
i think it might be one of those things where two accents get mixed and it ends up sounding odd
@mashellshock who does the phantom kill?

@RosesNightengales Man he is not Canadian, he is Iranian.
@phanpiggy
