UMHO Masaai Community Development Center Ormame, Oldonyosambu in Tanzania

Over 40 percent of the Masaai tribe is leaving their heritage, while countless girls endure forced early marriage and the trauma of FGM and such practices, in a bid to hold onto what remains. Cultural threads unravel as families migrate to urban centers, leaving those who stay with a stark choice: adapt or vanish.
Through education and training of local agents of change in Early Child Development, Women’s Empowerment and Regenerative Design, we're working hand in hand with the Masaai of Oldonyosambu, nurturing the revival of the communities and safeguarding their grassroots cultural legacy.
We believe in the power of community-led regeneration. Together, we are committed to building Tanzania’s first Community development center for women and children, a tangible symbol of hope.
