fun fact you can use your spike carpace to deflect blademail dmg too. so if enemy uses BM to run away active 3 and use your 2 and all dmg gets back to him 2 fold you can try this in demo too

I'm a bit skeptical of this build. I used to max W also because the number gain looks so nice on paper (cool down time and damage amp). I changed to max Q because an overwhelming statistic of pro dota builds like that. W33 in his last 4 games in last 8 days had 2 points of stun at level 3 and maxed Q every game.
Maxing Q to me feels like more damage output when roaming the map. It does 280 reliable damage unlike W which varies depending on target int value, how good your initiation position and also clean follow up is.
Another fun build when against heroes who dont have escape spells is echo saber rush. the slow helps to land combo cleaner, extra right clicks boost W damage. Also boosts farming speed considerably. It's rare at top tier but does pop up.

Been using this at my bracket also as pos 4, difference is ill max the stun first
You dont even need to hit them if you max your stun first. They just crumble after 1 landed combo. Tier 1 neutral best is occult or pigpole for stats.
That pugna needs to turn his auto attack off, he keeps giving away that he could see you.

What rank are you playing at? I mained nyx, and people literally never hit him with anything more than an autoattack unless they saw carapace go off already. Not to mention that centaur is practically a taboo pick with passive damage return against it, the same goes for prolonged attack heroes like pugna and jakiro
