I was first looking at the kangaroo but then the Tarantula came out and I got it. I love the capra look. I think the Tarantula has a bit more space for those of us that just want to swap over the original electronis. With some better wheels and servo its a blast to drive and so much more capable on the rocks.
Wouldn’t it be nice if the Tarantula frame was made of a stiffer composite? I have a new Tarantula and do feel the nylon like soft plastic would be a royal PIA if even one screw wouldn’t tighten up. Plus even the present frame slabs could stand to be stiffer. I wonder if the Tarantula type frame/kit design could start a trend for custom rigs. The present one demential flat carbon fiber held together with metal bars at right angles seem to be a bit primitive. Anyone with the technology listening?
💯. I just finished the Kangaroo build and will be filming this week. The Tarantula is super capable. I have a full video on that on my channel. One hard fall could be the end of it, tho. These are both more capable than the stock setup. I will also have a head to head video coming out soon.
@@hyperc5249 Great! I hardly see videos on it. I'm considering it so I can upgrade from my f150 body. My son has the Tarantula but didn't want the same thing. Was hoping to see if a crawler setup with a 1.3" wheel & tire would work great with it since it's an open wheel. I was also wondering if other carbon chassis apart from Injora's would work. Good luck with the video.
Yeah, the axles showed up yesterday. I'm pretty sure that was the last thing I needed. I have 1.2 wheels going on it. If you haven't subscribed, you should. So you will get notified when it comes out. I have so many projects going on I hope to have it done soon.
@@martintrj5620 it's not designed for lay down. I go over that in the full build video. I am getting ready to do the new Rock buggy build. It is designed for the laydown servo. www.injora.com/products/injora-nylon-buggy-body-shell-chassis-kit-with-light-for-1-18-rc-crawler-trx4m-upgrade
Build that kangaroo I think I want it but I want to see a built one 1st . You should do it with gladiator rear links in the back and deadbolt rear links in the front that way it would be built like I want to build mine LOL if I buy it
A very Nice Video and Review!
THK's for the Share my Friend!
Thanks. I'm starting the builds ths week. Can't wait to test them out on the rocks.
@@hyperc5249 You're welcome my Friend 🐼👍🏻 Looking forward to watch
I bought the kangaroo chassis as soon as it came out. my Trx4m looks awesome the way it came out
I just finished my Kangaroo build. I will best testing and filming this week. It seems to be a very solid platform.
I've got a kangaroo, which i love but I'm ordering a tarantula as I think they look just awesome.
It performs and looks awesome.

I agree. I'm finishing up the Kangaroo build right now. I will be interested in how it performs compared to the tarantula. The video is coming soon.
I'm looking forward to that video
@@DustinRea Both of those videos are done and on channel.

The tarantula has bad servo clearance issues. Vertical or lay down it hits the hood or frame. I might return mine.

Tarantula build is finished and video is coming soon. Started the Kangaroo. Already have Injors brass high clearance links for it.
@@hyperc5249 nice
Shame they couldn't make it as sturdy as the 24 version it's a little brick after its assembled
Started the build. I should have the complete video out soon.
@@hyperc5249 Kool looking forward to it... I want to add the clear one to my cart lol
