DG PC no1 - tata 1613 truck custom made... Some of the worst trucks for business use and it has nice Cummins Diesel but the truck has very poor interior because it is made by local dealer and tata only makes the chassis , the company wants the cheapest truck available so they amke it as bad as possible..
the kenworth t680 IS one of the most comfortable trucks i have ever ridden in (my father is a truck driver), even the top bunk has plenty of room and i haven't slept better anywhere else
You know what was a nice truck, a 1978 Mack cab-over believe it or not. I drove one when it was new coast to coast and return, It was quiet and even road good going across New Mexico back in the day, Serious!
Well you see,there wasn't a volvo fh or a scania S series,cause he is a moron and doesn't realize,that a renault magnum,scania S series,volvo Vnl,and a volvo fh,are better trucks,then the american crap,they call trucks!!
Neat.im not a truck driver but was lucky enough to have the experience to ride in one and see what it was like..it was a fun road trip across the globe I had a blast loved the feeling of a small home on wheels id do it again.
Sorry to see the Renault Magnum 480 with an upside down set of mirrors. The convex is mounted on the top, which to an engineer who has gone to university for seven years makes sense. For us pro drivers there is now a huge blind spot which is unnecessary. To see down at the little car below you need to look DOWN at the convex mirror like ALL North American Trucks. In this truck to see down, you look UP at the top convex. The mirror is away too high. Oops ! To much schooling and not enough pro driving I guess.
Volvo has some real nice trucks, I drove one of their off-road dump trucks for a year. It was way more comfortable and the power it had was ridiculous compared to the Terex and John Deer trucks we had. The Volvo would haul a 30 ton load while pulling the loaded Terex truck behind it through muck.
Kuntal ghosh are Scania's R series good for comfort? I'm actually curious, Iv been working as a mechanic with a company that has a fleet that has over 70 R620's after spending 12 years at a kenworth dealer ship here in Australia, it's like apple and oranges between the Aussie made Kenworth and the euro delivered Scania.
Jacob Stofmeel kenwort is made by us.... Scania is very reliable powerful and comfortable truck... Most of the scania r series has way better seats than kenwort and shifts smoothly and makes less noise...
Kuntal ghosh yes kenwroth is a American company under Paccar, in 1972 Australia opened a factory in Bayswater Victoria, we have been making Australian designed kenworth from scratch for Australia and New Zealand since. If you look up "kenworth T909, K200 or T409" to name a few, you will see that our trucks are a lot more robust and heavy duty for Australian needs. Yes they are powerful, is shocks me they are only rated to 70,000kg out of the factory tho. I hate to disappoint but both KW and Scania have ISRI 6840 seats in them with different trim.... I'm not here to troll you in any means.
Jacob Stofmeel here in India they made a scania factory but most of us are still stuck with cheaper tata trucks .... They are lot better than tata but cost 3x nore than tata with 5x more power , idots don't understand that scania is more fuel efficient than tata and makes tham more profitable in long run
wait a sec, the S class from scania is indeed a very luxurious truck, but the R-s are made only for power and comfort ON THE ROAD, this video was about trucks that are comfortable in any moment, either on the road, either just sitting in the cabin. You might still believe that the R-s have a extremely comfortable cabin, and that might be from the fact that you might compare them with the tata-s, in witch case, yes. Another fact, the power of the trucks doesn't really matters, a truck doesn't needs a lot of power, it needs the amount of power for the type of loading that you carry, for example, if you carry a wagon full of cement bags, would you want a R720 for that job?! all of those 720 HP for a single wagon of cement bags?! Plus the fact that when you buy a truck, you have to buy one for the job you have to do with it, scania and man (and the new examples of volvo-s and other trucks) are just great for heavy duty loading, and other trucks for low loading. That is how I see the trucks, each one for each job.
The first truck Is no good for real truckers because it's only got 1 rear diff so you can't tow anything heavy and it's the ugliest truck I have ever seen in my life
Dylan Rooney I fucking agree!! I live in Sweden, Europe. So I see many Renault trucks every day and they are ugly as fuck!! Volvo and scania trucks look much better!!
Dylan Rooney Not only that they are hidious, according to my dad, who drove Scania, Volvo, DAF, Mercedes and Renault in the last few years of his working life, the disconnected cab made it harder to feel if something wasn't alright with truck or cargo.
my favirote is the new VOLVO VNL 760 that one lookslike its going to fucking kill you and i fucking love it consedering i have one i got it yesterday cause my boss suprised me with it im at a kentucky rest stop
That vml has the same dash as the European volvo ones. Though the screen is different. I'm partial to the magnum. I love the design. The new renault range t is amazing in my opinion. We have titling leather wrapped steering wheel and generally the drive is comfortable even in the smaller size one. I've been in the extra tall range t and those are incredibly well designed. The doors are even improved to better fit the styling with the taller cab
I have never ever seen a renault truck in sweden ever. Scania, volvo and mercedes here. and by the way, do the american trucks still got the unsynced gearboxes!?
Skyisnotalimit yup. Same old trans but now they are available with auto-shift. They are extremely popular with fleets and green drivers. We've got 13 freightliners pulling super B trains through Western Canada . Not one transmission failure in any of them . They are NOT automatic transmissions.
If you want to see Renaults, come to Hungary, Premium is cheap and shitty, so all the short-distance companies use those. (DAF XF or MAN for international, like Waberers, those are good)
What kind of a person forgets google! Jebbus cries! And im pretty fucking sure you use google for research. But since you seems to be cool ill just tell you, In each movie a different type of Peterbilt shows. But mainly in the first runs it was a 1992 Peterbilt 379. Peterbilt is an extremely popular truck brand here in states, i think in your country you mainly uses Isuzu and Hino trucks, a few Hino trucks resemble some of Peterbilt Designs
My dad owns 2 MAN TGX 480-s, flat floor, mini refrigerator with a small freezer compartment under the first bed, two pliable beds, 8 wardrobes above the drivers head, electric windshield curtains, 8 speed gear stick with over drive, hydraulic tilt system for the rear axle and a 6 cylinder engine with a low center of gravity.
But you could buy a Trooper Carrier for 6,000, fix all the accessories and basic needs, insulate the cabin, or if it doesnt bring one, buy one. You can bring out your inner crafter and build the living area in the cabin. Absolute comfort, off-road, and badass looking truck. All for about 60,000.
They don't look weird, and they are comfortable compared to the american "trucks"!!Also the flat nose american trucks are - gross, ugly, weird really bad!!!But the euro flat nose trucks are the best trucks you can get!!!
Yes those are trucks from the 20th century, but if you want good realiable, modern trucks european trucks rule the market!!Alltho since volvo is owned by chinese, and chinese have ruined the new volvo cars, they will probably ruin volvo trucks aswell!!
That Volvo truck is just an even more massive version if an XC90 lol. It's got all the same radar and crash prevention systems and the steering wheel looks really similar.
My understanding is that they are still manual transmissions, just an air/mechanical system handles the 'lever' shifts? I have a 6-speed in my Nissan Frontier. People hop in it and go 'Oh, I can't drive this!'. Taught several of my friend's kids in it so they can drive a stick if they really need to.
steve walker I absolutely agree, but please tell me how many people in the current generation have even heard of rev matching? welcome to an idiot friendly world! of course this refers more to the "advanced" societies such as the majority of Europe and the United States.
Chris Charles They do in most countries outside of Europe and North America....just lay across the seats with your cooler in between and Bam! Sleeper with refrigerator...
Open video, first truck that's on the list is legit the worst truck there is on the market, well to drive and work on, don't no about living in a Renault/Mack magnum tho.
I remember when I drove trucks in Europe and I always thought American trucks were uncomfortable junk until I moved to Canada and started driving American made trucks, which just blew me away with all the room, comfort, luxury and power, now you couldn't pay me enough to go back and drive European boxes on wheels. If you want comfort and room, then American trucks are absolutely number 1 in the world, it's like living in a studio apartment. I now drive a 2017, Kenworth 900W and it is heaven on wheels and it looks like a proper truck should look like.
For the people who aren't truck drivers, Just know that these trucks are pretty damn nice
Except forthe fact that most trucks are gutless automatics now

Many truckers spend several days in their trucks on long distance transport
This makes me wanna own a truck
Wildcanucks33 i know right
Haha that’s funny
Good luck driving 11 hours a day bitch it aight easy
@@butteredtank9471 you dont have to work if you own a truck. I know lots of people who own trucks and drive them just for fun
Jure Klanac what planet do you live on?
Who buys a 120 thousand dollar semi truck that’s meant to work and drive it for fun?
@@butteredtank9471 there are some people. Just like people who buy phones to destroy them
I like Cab-Overs because of their incredibly tight turning radius, but there is an inherent safety issue with them that cannot be ignored.
While those trucks offer great comfort, still can't beat the beauty of a Peterbilt 379 and Kenworth W900's.
I love all the depressed looking truck drivers... makes this so, not boring
I loved my Pete drove it for 10 years never had any issues rode smooth and had a sweet sleeper...........
I would consider Volvo Trucks Luxurious.
Matthew Rarig i would consider us trucks houses on wheels
Gijs Achternaam yep, but there are people trying to tell me that european trucks are better
RTM 93 kinda depends on what perspective
european trucks are made for working, US trucks are made for show-off. All the same AKM vs M4
Yeah, european trucks are better for working but american trucks are better for living.
the kenworth t680 IS one of the most comfortable trucks i have ever ridden in (my father is a truck driver), even the top bunk has plenty of room and i haven't slept better anywhere else

at 9:48 they used a old pitted piece of metal for the brake light housing but the rest of the truck looks new
Seems luxurious! Maybe this is what trucking's future looks like!
