@sok009, Kamoru Bombata is still very much alive, he is said to be leading the dreaded "Onyabo"in Ikorodu. This group has been able to rid Ikorodu of cult guys wrecking havoc in the town. Ikorodu is now peaceful again. You are not wrong to say Bonbata is spiritually powerful. When i said Rip, I was referring to his father or grandfather Adekunle Bombata, a contemporary of Muse Agbaku. What !, is Bombata dead or still Alive?. The video of this music was actually edited in my studio at Ikorodu. Precisely at Afrowood Studio.The Video disappeared mysteriously three times from our Computer after editing, we finally we had to call on Bombata himself to come and give us permission so that nothing will happen to the edited video. He came to our studio and just touched the system and after that it was all okay.He is not just a singer but one with a difference
Bombata is an activist, he sing about everyone, he you were there is important. I was they have to dance in front of our family house on that day when they came out in pink singlets they were perfect and beating there feet perfect with there Pepe. They were the best thing I ever seen , it’s cause a big fight between benson families and jayesimi families and Alison families . The make those singlets in there factory. The first factory in Nigeria.
The factory was located in mile 12 , which they put a curses on those factory never open again. It’s was destroyed by weed and grasses and the cups glass factory.
Ikorodu oga, omo eluku mede mede . This music took me back to Memory Lane , when Ikorodu people are United, examples are in social places, education centres to mention few as soon as your surname is heard, leave the rest to them. Ikorodu ni bo je o.
I was there when this song first play at mago they won the best dress and song they wear pink , but they not supposed to wear pink it’s cause a lot of fight , they supposed to wear white singlets and muse got upset bombata wear singlets . It’s cause a big fight at ijomu beat themselves with ogu citing with awoese . Good old days
