sure hope this is the nerdiest thing i ever do, otherwise i will personally unfriend myself
Iluvatar: Lets make a universe through music, where everything is prefect and nothing bad will ever happen:)
Everyone else: Alright lets do it!
Melkor: Shows up with the Doom Eternal soundtrack.
Love the Moment when Iluvatar ends the music with single note!
I know! It demonstrates his wisdom and power
Melkor: An interllectual...
Evil was created because Melkor was smart enough to understand Rick and Morty
illuvatar:everything including evil came from me
Peter Jackson can never match this
He should make it fr
My Melkor can't possibly be this cute.
"Illy gave me the gift of knowledge" and "Melkor, an intellectual" basically sums up the 4+ pages that talk specifically about him (every other Vala got 5 line at best lol)
I like that melkor for all the evil he did. It was intended for him to do all these things. He was intended to create strife and challenge for the good creatures of the world to overcome. In a sense a feel kind if bad for him. He was made to be evil. It was all concentrated into just one of the Valar instead of spread out. No ounce of good was he allowed to have. A pawn.
Mistake? Take that back! Everything that happens is always according the overall plan of The One.
I FULLY AGREE! ILLUVITAR CAN MAKE NO MISTAKES!
Yeah, the only times the Valar get involved after the Noldor leave Valinor is either Ulmo, the only one who likes people, Varda creating the sun and the moon, and Manwe shipping FingonxMaedhros
When did Manwe do that? Is that even in his character?
as someone who tried to read the book and had my brain exploded instead I CANNOT STRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS BWAHAHAHAH 😂😂
The cutest summary I have ever seen for this book.
"Melkor, an intellectual"
me - dies
this is one of the most accurate Silmarillion Explained videos i love it
Could you PLEEEAAASE start making animations on the silmarillion again PLEEEAASE they were epic
I love how it’s just canonically accepted that Melkor was making rock music as his discord to the music of the Ainur.......
Its pronounced eru (air-oo) iluvitar (ill-u-vit-are) tbh I gotta little triggered in the beginning but it was funny so forgiveness lol
EE-loo-Vah-tar
Eru is a seperate name. They are not just one name
I can see how our broken nature can easily think that we know better (Melkor's chief lie) and that Illuvitar made a mistake. But that's impossible according to his nature, for he is above the mortals and Ainur as their Maker, and even Melkor does not fully comprehend the Plan of the One.
Beautiful drawing of Eru, though. (Also accurate representation of the songs of Mel and the Ainur) I like everything but the only thing I have qualms with is Eru's bout of acting almost like one of us broken humans....but hey, I understand how that ended up happening. Nobody's perfect. (Except Eru....but who can portray him the way he really is)
"Look what you did with your yelling, dummy!" that was HILARIOUS! Mel needs to hear that more lol.
Melkor: Anyone who doesn’t share my music taste, clearly has no taste in music, *I AM BETTER THAN EVERYBODY!!!!*
Very funny, Melkor! >:
I've wanted to do this for such a long time, but I don't have the animation skills (and I'm not very funny). I hope you'll create more. This is awesome. 💖
These videos are definitely essential companions to the book.
Thank you.
2:39 This one literally killed me 🤣
PLEASSE. THIS IS THE BEST I'VE SEEN TODAY 😭
It's Eru Iluvatar :p
Love the colours and visuals in this one!
That last part was awesome!
Tbh....I prefer Melkor's discord theme....it sounds chad and it rocks XD
Melkor is the best in this animated series as well as the book too. This is great.
"Dumb layman's terms" - I like that!
To be fair, you have to have a very high iq to understand Tolkien. His constant rambling descriptions aren't subtle at all, and without a solid grasp of the hobbitses, most of the plot will go over the typical reader's head. There's also Sauron's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization - his personal philosophy draws heavily from the archetypal big bad, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of his writing, to realize that it's not just an epic adventure- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence, people who dislike Tolkien truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humor in Frodo's existential catchphrase "Oh, Sam..." which itself is a cryptic reference to why the fuck am I writing this. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Tolkien's genius unfolds itself in his books. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Lord of the Rings tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
**is aggressively scratching my simpleton head**
When you realize that Melkor's rock music being mixed with the rest of the Valar's classical music is what got us to have the Nameless Things deep below Moria that even Gandalf and Durin's Bane (the Balrog) do not wanna deal with
What is the name of themusic in the background?
This is fantastic, thank you for making this :)
He made a bunch of gods.
This is really cool and funny.
This channel is so underrated wtf
Yeahhhhh, content !!!
I'm with Melkor in this music gender thing.
This is so cute and fun! I love it!!!
This is awesome. Definitely subscribing.
I lasted 4 seconds. If you start by taking the micky out of the name Iluvatar, it doesn’t bode well.
oh no (I look forward to the next part)
As adorable as this is you missed the opportunity to point out Iluvatars oversight. Each of the Valar were created from all of the aspects of Iluvatars own self. The Valar were the embodiment of himself each emotion taking physical form. He was displeased at the song which was an accurate representation of himself, as though listening to the song was like looking in a mirror and not liking what you see. Instead of realizing "he" was flawed "he" blamed them and punished them by making them live out "their failure". The whole thing is a tragic story of denialism.
so where do I buy tickets
No! Why did it end? I want to know what happens next!!
: )
you should upload more often. this channel is so good
I worship you for making this. I subbed

That thumbnail looks very LegendaryFrog!
Heyy actually your voice is sooo gorgeous👍
this is Gold XD
What a curious person you are! Here you demonstrate talents of art and artistry, like you show love of science in the way you've critiqued the guy impressed with his own confidence level in your other videos. So, what I wonder is, why'd you bother with Mr. Bozo over there (in the other vids)?
BEST EVER
Your understanding of the Silmarillion is completely wrong.
A good simplified version.
I tried reading it, but to be honest, the way its written just made me put it away...
Ironically
Vortex Eleven I think it came from Christopher Tolkien’s (JRR’s son) organization of his dad’s notes and putting them together
This is so cute
hi
Hello, some constructive critisism coming your way.
I came here from your CoC video, and I was interested with the channel. And while your animation is superb there is something distracting in the way you tell the story and try to mix it with animation.
One things that I managed to put my finger on that might sound small but every big youtuber do :
"there were a bunch of angels" THEN you should pop the animation of said angels. This keeps you more engaged in the story and following it. You don't do that throughout the whole video and it lacks some consistancy and it makes it appear as if you're narrating over a video instead of being the creator of it if you get what I mean. Also you lack energy in your voice at some points.
That's said, I think you hit the niche you need when you reviewed CoC, I believe you should make more videos on other youtubers/celebreties with the same exact format while that videos is still getting suggested and use that as a launching point. The other videos while amazing they don't target a specefic niches and you need to start there and grow an audience before you start making videos about random things you're passionate about. I doubt many people are searching for The silmarillion but many are looking for charisma on command which is how your video popped up for me.
But hey, I'm just a random guy who just watches a lot of youtube and I have no experience whatsoever in making videos. So take it with a grain of salt.
Wish you all the success.
What the fuck did I just read
Jared Scott lmao ikr
Woooow so good 😱
Lol that's funny
Lol! Funny!
