Good cover but there's one flaw. Almost everyone gets it wrong: at 0:43 it's the left hand that should do the snare hits while alternating between the hi-hat (downbeats) and the right hand does offbeats on the ride. And it stays there the whole time.
I love Death and I love Decrepit Birth, but I'm sorry. This song was a piece of cake for DB. If they played something from TSOP, Human, or Individual Thought Patterns, it would be much of a challenge for them.

It was more of just something I noticed while they were playing it, not that it had any specific meaning or relevance to either bands, as both bands are fantastic. My point was that Crystal Mountain is not a challenge for a band like Decrepit Birth.

His music taste is a bit more softcore. I would imagine the only reason he listens to Necrophagist is because it's "T3CNIKAL SH1T3!!!!1!!11!!!". It doesn't seem like he knows how to appreciate well written music. But people who only value technical aspects of music don't get the whole picture anyway, so why bother having a discussion when he doesn't consider half the factors we do?
I do not wish to get into this shitstorm you've caused but, I would like to say that I'd rather be the best musician than the best drummer. Serve the music not the ego.
