      I am genetic garbage spent my life in gym and I completely agree with your message. I squat like 100kg. I spend soo much time around squat, it’s my favourite exercise, i gave it my all. Only time I improve is when I eat much more than I need to gain huge amount of fat.

    Tbf getting women is only the gate way drug, once you start lifring for a while its about chasing (unrealistic?) body ans strength standards and the goal of getting a woman through lifting becomes secondary.

  • @jacobm92
    @jacobm92 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    Spending time dieting and lifting is only going to help you with women. If you try and talk about it all the time though they're gonna not like that, like the woman in the beginning saying that dudes try and impress her by talking about meal prep. I honestly think that calling someone thats jacked a "gymcel" is kind of a cope made my NGMI type individuals. Like yeah what an incel, he got himself a 6 pack and big muscles. Also, im quite surprised that rehab used the boomer logic of "protein is bad for your liver". like sure thing man. It isnt DBOL lol.
    Rehab also uses literal "plus size" logic. Low body fat = "starving yourself to death bro".
    That being said, people like nippard are cringe and the people who watch a lot of that content are usually not very cool.
    The more i watch this video, the more rehab makes pathetic arguments. I actually like rehab, but he is really the one thats coping here. Lol. I can see why he deleted this one. And before these "blackpilled" (you aren't blackpilled, you have the mindset of a bitter overweight spinster and you're not mentally capable of true self reflection or discipline) people bomb this comment with replies saying that im "coping" and that this video "struck a nerve", i am 5'11" and have good facial genetics. I HATED the way that i looked when i was overweight in middle school. *Girls hated it too.* Being physically fit directly increases facial attractiveness, its just a fact. Don't neglect your jawline or your body. Food for thought. I know people are going to totally misinterpret my argument. Yes, some 30 year old NGMI isn't going to magically become a chad because he started going to the gym. But those people typically don't even really try that hard to get fit, and give off an aura of shame when they are in the gym. Their heads are down and then they go home and write comments about how "bodybuilders are weak" and "people make noise in the gym for attention from others". It is ENDLESS cope with those types of people. Recognize your situation, sure, but that doesn't mean you should never work out.

    Cant help but feel youre showing more of yourself here than you are the gym community. Sure gymcels are a thing, but theyre not nearly as prolific as you seem to want to make out. Maybe work on yourself for a bit before deciding that others have the same issues you had in the past? And yes, i lift befire you decide youd like to label me as a gymcel, my reasons are my own though. And only related to me. My emotional needs are met, i do what i do because it works for me and achieves what i want it to. If i was doing it for any body else i would fail. The health benefits of exercise arent really up for debate in your video, but your phrasing implies it for sure with such broad sweeping statements. Ultimately this may be rage bait, or you may actually believe this. If its the latter. Find a way to make peace with yourself and perhaps take time to look around without the narrow lens of self projection.

    why do you feel so strongly so? gyming is good for mental health and well being

    • @Neutron311
      @Neutron311 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +9

      mild resistance and calisthenics training 2/3 days per week for 45 minute is good not bodybuilding or gymceling

    • @RasOliverZA
      @RasOliverZA 19 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

      Why do you feel so strongly about gymming being a form of ‘cope’? The truth is, gymming is far from that-it’s a vital, empowering practice for both mental and physical well-being. It’s not about insecurity, but about building strength, discipline, and resilience. Bodybuilding and intense training aren’t just for aesthetics; they are a means of self-mastery, of pushing past limitations, and of creating a powerful, healthy foundation for life.
      Mental health isn’t about avoiding challenges-it’s about facing them head-on, and the gym is one of the best places to do that. While mild resistance and calisthenics work for some, others find profound mental benefits in pushing themselves through more intense training. Every person’s journey is different, and dismissing bodybuilding or intense gym routines as unnecessary only limits one’s understanding of the holistic impact training has on one’s life.
      Fitness isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution. Whether it’s the mental clarity from pushing heavier weights or the confidence gained from muscle growth, gymming is a tool that works for many. To claim it’s purely about insecurity is a shallow take; it’s about self-improvement, discipline, and a mindset that reaches far beyond physical appearance.

    • @jameslight4391
      @jameslight4391 15 วันที่ผ่านมา +15

      @@RasOliverZA lots of people use it as a cope and only do it to get girls not for their health. Most gymcels only do it because they were pick on as well and have lots of insecurity even when the events have long pass on sadly making going to the gym their whole personality. There are the normal people who do it for health and no other reason.
      Also, it is not health taking peds and those are on the rise in the gym community sadly. Gym can be good if you do it for the right reasons
