Nursing student diaries | Chicago trip, new nursing externship in DC, the bean, holiday markets

Hii,
This has been my winter break so far. The footage from Chicago was filmed during Thanksgiving when I went to a church conference but just included it in this vlog. So far for break I’ve been to some holiday markets, eating out, and starting my new nursing externship in DC. It’s been really nice and I’m learning a lot from my preceptors. So many have been telling me I’m the most committed student they’ve had which has given me so much assurance and relief bc I was really stressing how I would adjust to working in this new psych med-surg unit. I plan to begin studying for the nclex soon so I will share how I study. It was also my first time in Chicago. I had a great experience at my church conference and we had a bit of time to explore the city so we had deep dish pizza and saw the bean at Cloudgate. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!!
