Shinkawa River has many cherry trees along both sides of it, therefore the trees named Shinkawa Senbon Sakura means a thousands cherry trees along Shinkawa River. Actually, there are almost 1,000 trees planted them. In addition, there are some wooden bridges and a wooden fire lookout tower along the river.
