HOW to make fan with 555 dc motor
To make a fan with a 555 DC motor, you will need the following materials:
555 Timer ICDC motorNPN transistor (e.g. BC547)Diode (e.g. 1N4148)Capacitor (e.g. 10µF)Resistor (e.g. 10kΩ)Battery (e.g. 9V)Fan bladesWireSoldering ironSolder
Once you have all of the materials, follow these steps to make the fan:
Prepare the DC motor by attaching the fan blades to the motor shaft.
Build the circuit on a breadboard or PCB. Connect the 555 timer IC to the NPN transistor, capacitor, diode, and resistor as shown in the schematic diagram below.
Connect the positive lead of the DC motor to the collector of the transistor and the negative lead to the battery.
Turn on the power and adjust the potentiometer until the fan starts spinning at the desired speed.
Once you are satisfied with the fan speed, use a soldering iron to solder all of the connections on the circuit board.
Mount the circuit board and motor to a base or enclosure to finish the fan.
Keep in mind that the circuit described above is a basic circuit and there are many variations that can be made depending on the desired speed control and other features
