    C'erano quartieri italiani a Tunisi così come il teatro italiano in Avenue Habib Bourguiba, ci sono ancora tracce dell'architettura italiana soprattutto a La Goulette. La piccola Sicilia della Tunisia poiché lì vivevano i siciliani provenienti dall'Italia. Inoltre, esiste ancora la processione della Madonna di Trapani, festa tradizionale che la comunità cristiana tunisina celebra ogni anno il 15 agosto presso la chiesa di Saint-Augustin e Saint-Fidèle a La Goulette.

    for the gygiene you choose the dirtiest places to eat. Only poor people choose to eat there.
    usually restaurants are more hygienic. It depend on where you choose to eat. Like in any country.
    But I agree with you in one think. Tunisia became dirty since the revolution. public services have deteriorated significantly since the departure of Ben Ali. Corruption has killed public administrations and this can be seen in the streets.

      @@whereisgabri3641 alloggiare a Giza, in hotel con vista piramidi, visitare Khan El Khalili ma addentrarsi dentro, dove non ci sono turisti. Andare al cimitero settentrionale dove vivono persone povere, non per vedere la miseria ma per vedere come si sono organizzati, mangiare Kosheri da "Kosheri", lo trovi anche in Lonely Planet. Camminare, camminare e camminare senza paura di dove si può finire, io lo ho trovato sempre molto sicuro, pure nelle aree estremamente povere ti danno il benvenuto.
      Importantissimo: fare turismo etico, quindi no a uso cavalli ed asini, specie alle Piramidi, vengono schiavizzati all'inverosimile, te ne accorgerai.
      Abbiamo le nostre gambe, usiamo quelle.

    by the way, Se provi a parlare in italiano la gente ti capira meglio . sarai compreso meglio rispetto a quando parli in inglese. Soprattutto da parte degli anziani, in maggior parte cresciuti tutti con Mamma Rai.
