Brought together by friends, fell in love by chance. Addie was born and raised in Oklahoma. Frank grew up in New Jersey by way of New York and ended up in Addie's part of the county. Frank had recently moved to Stillwater, OK, from Ithaca, NY, and didn't know many people. Someone he did know was Coleman, a training partner. Addie just happened to be Coleman and Jessica's, babysitter. Frank didn't know many people, and Jessica wanted Frank to meet their cute babysitter. Jessica would invite Frank over for dinner and tell Addie to stay for steaks. The time came when Coleman and Jessica were moving and decided to have a going-away party with friends. Frank and Addie were both invited and enjoyed celebrating with their friends with dinner, drinks, and lots of bowling. However, this night was different. Frank and Addie spent the night talking and getting to know one another, not just passing at a dinner party. One week later, Frank asked Addie on their first date. After some time, Frank decided to move (a few times), which brought him to Pennsylvania. At the same time, Addie stayed in Oklahoma to continue dancing for the NBA. Surprise flights to New York, summer vacations at the Jersey shore, and thousands of frequent flyer miles, a long-distance relationship began to lose its luster. With lots of planning and significant conversations, Addie took a leap and landed a spot on an NFL dance team in New York, ending the flight commute between them. After a year of being on the east coast, Addie began law school, and Frank started planning the biggest birthday surprise. Frank and Addie had planned a dinner for Addie's birthday with friends and family at a rooftop restaurant in Bethlehem, PA. Addie and Frank's mother went to get their nails done as a birthday gift while Frank and the crew put his plan in motion. Frank was in place on the balcony, patiently waiting for Addie to arrive. On a cold November night, freezing Frank's big birthday gift was set in motion two hours later. Greeted with a glass of champagne, Addie was led through the bar where she saw her friends. She stops to laugh at how long it took them, and they all just stared at her with confused looks as the maître-dee instructed Addie to continue out to the balcony. Walking outside, she saw Frank standing there, and thought "wow did he get me fireworks for my birthday!" The next thing they both knew, Frank was on one knee, and Addie, with shock, surprise, and drink in hand, was saying "YES!"
