Estaba tan triste después del final por qué no terminó bien, pero investigué su historia y desafortunadamente se quedó como emperatriz. She loved him as deeply as he loved her. They had a very tragic romance and their circumstances made them to fall apart. When Wang Yu learned that Ki Yang died (because she fell off a cliff yet she survived but they didn't know at the time), he agreed on marrying another girl for convenience. When Yang learned that he married another woman, losing their child, and seeing her friends die just to protect her, she then felt like there's no purpose on going back to Goryeo because she lost everything. That's what made her go back to the Palace and plot her revenge to Yeoncheol's clan and her decision to be an Imperial Concubine to ruin all of them. She was stuck with Ta hwan and she used him and his feelings for her to get revenge she wanted. At the end, they both sacrificed their love for one another for the greater good and for their people. It's sad and unnecessary when Ta Hwan killed Wang Yu because of his inferiority complex and the obsession to make Yang his own. He's so petty and childish. I just hate him to the core, I don't care about his love for Yang, he's toxic and immature till the end.

Wang yu's death was was so unnecessary, they couldn't even give him a good death, emperor was so pathetic, i hated him the moment he was shown, his obsession towards Ki is out of this world. Wang Yu is a man, while he a boy. And after all he did, testifying againts his father, and killing Wang Yu,Ki still stayed with the emperor til the end and that whats make me so frustrated. The only people i liked in this series are Wangyu and his men, and Taltal. And Bisu After all the late nights i wish it wasn't a 51 ep if it just eneded that way.
