A few thoughts, it's "lightly" abandoned. Looks ransacked, maybe somewhat squatted in. No wanton vandalism apparent (no smashed windows, graffiti, punched walls, etc.). Not open to the elements or else paint would be peeling inside everywhere from water damage. This looks about 2-4 years vacant with aforementioned ransacking. Certainly not falling under its own weight at this point. Easy cleanup, haul out the trash and clean the hell out of it. Then think about what level of rehab you would want to do to freshen up the finishes. But honestly empty trash and deep clean and it's pretty much move in ready if you're not too picky. Issue though is where in the hell is it? Looks like middle of nowhere :/
@@dirtysnkrs The families in the area are trying to keep an eye on the place and force squatters out, so that is nice to know. Unfortunately there is a hole in the roof now, so the elements will start to do their damage. If someone started now, she could be saved.
That would be a great home to bring back to it's former self
The music is absolutely perfect for this video 👌
I'll be back in the spring. I miss the Midwest. Even though I'm southern
Thank you, nicely done!
Wonderfull home just needs a little work i hope those who lived there are safe and ok
Beautiful old home all that left behind nice features not seen much anymore Music was perfect takes you back to a far away time thanks for sharing .
I would rebuild it
@@oliverrust8993 Me too, I’ve never been afraid of hard work and a place like that needs love.
Such a beautiful home. I wonder what circumstances led up to its demise. 😢
I would guess an elderly couple illness thus neglect of the place if so i hope they are safe somewhere else

So very sad. Loved this house. That hugely full litterpan, was concerning. Were the cats left to fend for themselves till they died? 😞
@@malindahenke5724 I wonder that as well about the cats, it sure appears that way. 😪
@jentill1034 Ugh.
@@malindahenke5724 I love cats and it breaks my heart thinking they were left on their own. 😥
