Maybe more like a person being cold after being screwed to many times and having less tolerance for the bullshit. A person who cuts through the bullshit, lies and deceit. That's another way to look at it. Since air signs/swords tend to be more logical, thinkers, intuitive, seekers of justice, humanitarians, honest and blunt. This doesn't make them robotic. Maybe they come off as cold more likely. Probably just sick of being played but see exactly what is going on. Another way to view this.

i'm kind of confused because king of swords represented me in a love reading, and i definitely have a lot of feelings for the other person. granted, i don't really show it but... i'm a scorpio so i'm very emotional, just more inwards. he was represented by the page of pentacles. if someone could help me clear this up a bit that'd be amazing
I think passion runs deep in all the suits. As a Libra Sun my sun sign is represented by the Swords; however, I am also an Aries moon. I think (no pun intended) that air signs/swords gets a bad wrap in love. There is a lot of misunderstandings connected to the Swords Court cards. In astrology, the seat of one's emotions is represented by the astrological sign on the 4th house cusp. How someone feels at a given time is often not displayed for all to see. In matters of love, I think Swords people can be incredibly cruel in how they treat themselves (9 of Swords). Swords people love deeply and often in a self-defeating kind of way that is brought on by too much analyzing (3 of swords and the 5 of swords).
I think you just said it yourself! You feel, but dont show it very well and may come off as a little stern/icy to others when it comes to romance.
It could be your mask how the outward appearance is but inward could be more emotional
I see the king of swords as someone very brain led, uses logic over emotions to deal with situations and generally emotionally detached. I would rather see the king of cups in a love reading.
