I always thought it was kinda cool for baseball to play at unique places in the exhibition season, like the Alamo Done, the New Orleans Superdome back in the 80's some college fields ect.
That's unrelated to this video but yes the Astros have been in Texas longer than the Rangers and have been more successful through their history than have the Rangers, making the Astros the true Texan team. Not to discount the Rangers by any means though, because they absolutely have had success during their history, even having some good teams dating back to their D.C. Senator days, but overall the Houston ballclub takes the cake, at least right now.

Maybe the MLB All Star Game could be played at the Alamodome someday
J78618 funny joke
You can have all of my assets if that ever happens.
Stanton would've had 80 hrs if he played on this field
Short porch was in right, not left.
And he might hit 80 over the course of four years considering he only plays 50 games a season
Wouldn't it make more sense to have the field in some polo grounds configuration?
The Dodgers I think played a spring game at the Coliseum with a similar orientation.
Yeah just that left field had a shorter distance
LOVE YOU MLB!
What a weird vantage point for the broadcast crew.
